Just now, Coaster Jamie said:
That I didn't enjoy it enough to rate it 5, but I felt that 4 was too harsh considering that they tried a completely new concept.
But if you vote a ride a 5 are you enjoying it?

What makes it not a 5 or a 4?

This image? You remember the image leaked in the tech mag about a month ago.... why does the interior look so sparse in comparison.

So staying away from the spoilers shall we talk about the vive as I know the first time I used it, I was blown away but that was for a video game. How were first impressions?

Let's think of this, though ..... Can Thorpe park really afford to drop one attraction for one which would only be effective after dusk if it is not in a tent / warehouse? Imagine how long the queues will be before dusk.

The old train path is where TWBP is right? So... Where's Blair Witch gonna go if the new maze is there?
No by the log flume that loop of the track. Those actors are outside and it does say overground would be weird to be all indoors. Plus log flume now in motion meaning no health and safety risk. Time to theme it all up as well.
* I mistook overgrown and overground. Still it adds to the case also those images are taken in the wood and rockwork where the train used to travel through.

Chainsaw actor from asylum roaming the park confirmed? People in hazmat suits? The potential think of the potential or it could just be actors wearing black with a bit of fake blood on their faces.
Also from the description, it sounds like the old train path will be used for the new maze.

The guy in the picture is one of Thorpe parks main actors he does Celebrity and fright nights.

I'm not bothered about being one of the first people on, I would be bothered by seeing "select customers" being let on when the majority aren't.
And I commented because that's my opinion.
But if you were one of the first on, you would probably be boasting about it?

Press release on social media will go something like:
"We are excited as you are to finally ride the new Derren Brown's Ghost Train at THORPE PARK RESORT. However, we anticipate the experience being extremely popular, and because of this we will be introducing a pre-booked timed ticket system to minimise queues and ensure everyone has a fair chance of boarding during their visit to THORPE PARK. Only those with a prebooked ticket will be able to board DERREN BROWN'S GHOST TRAIN until further notice."
Wait is this a soft opening? Or is it a ballot? The word fair confuses me everyone will get on the ride if they queue up at the end of the day whether its 5mins or 4 hours down the line.

I was fearing for my life after being on a Stealth rollback. .....Can see the headlines already.

To early to start discussing a potential IP?

They are nothing but a complete shambles.
3 hours ago, Coaster Jamie said:Why invest in something with so much new technology when their reliability on existing, tried-and-tested rides is already awful? Why get something that heavily relies on effects/headsets working when they don't even maintain their current effects?
It's a disgrace to be airing the adverts on TV stating "end of May", I saw two yesterday! What sort of clueless so-and-so gives a second timescale after the backlash the first delay got?
2 hours ago, Coaster Jamie said:Samurai, Saw, Stealth, Colossus, Rush, Tidal Wave, Storm Surge, etc.
2 hours ago, Coaster Jamie said:Just seen this on Thorpe's website:
Shame it took them two delays and subsequent backlashes to realise this.
1 hour ago, Coaster Jamie said:I have read it, it doesn't change my opinion and I don't want to cause a stir by replying to it.
That advert is false advertising.
I don't think it justifies 5 moaning posts in the last few hours. Yes, Thorpe has mucked up. But why not be patient and just wait and enjoy the other rides Thorpe has to offer rather than coming to a forum to complain about an unfinished product that when finished will probably make us glad we waited. There is so much new technology here within this ride, which could be up there within the top 10 dark rides in the world, that I'm more than happy to wait for a product that's 100% done rather than a yeah it was ok 65%..

Fright Nights 2016
in General Discussion

Have we ever seen a fright night campaign released before August? If anything were in-front of schedule.
