Methinks that if this is a ride, in the dark, going forwards, then in a few years time they'll put the lights on and turn the seats round.

But they never come round with the teas!

The Black Hole at AT used to have on-ride pics, no problems. Though it's not a high building therefore one may dismiss a coaster ride, Rock'n'Rollercoaster is a fairly low level building and that has plenty of umph!

Apparently he knew he had a condition, no fault has been found with the ride. I hope he recovers.

I was night shift last night, so as the weather was to be so good, decided to go in to the park today - big mistake - I had not realized it was a special event day and therefore all Annual Pass holders were expected to pay a tenner, the queues were massive, the car park queue was to the gate. As I had only intended to visit until five, I actually walked away. I suppose if I'd checked the site properly I would have seen the detail.

It also takes BPB back to it's routes, as in the Hyram Maxim Flying Machines were created by Maxim to fund his research into flight, before the Wright Brothers took their recorded their first.

I had my chance to try Air Race during the last two weeks and I thought it pretty good. Actually, I love GForce and that hang time. We are all built differently and though I was able to ride it continuously, others in the group either did not ride it at all, or only once. As to "built differently", I ride Shockwave with my legs lifted up so I get a tighter roll, and I think, though it's somewhat late for me, it protects other areas. DM, nice park.

Well according to my bank account, I don't own TP, but today, happened to coincide with my attendance at Stealth, someone asked me if I was a pilot who was required under the training scheme to undergo several trips on Stealth, which I am not.

Well went to TP today (16th October), and got stuck, on Stealth. Well, what I mean is there were so few people in the park, I could not leave Stealth as the team kept forcing me to ride it. Dead lucky with the weather, as the one shower gave me a chance to lunch and apparently, Stealth broke down, so when I went back, all dry, all working, and they made me keep riding, honestly. Oh, and someone had recognized me from a picture in a book on sale in the shop, apparently I own Thorpe Park - I ought to check my bank account.

I think, pull the shoulder restraints down to touching whilst "sitting tall", one cannot then go anywhere. I think the OSR's are important when it comes to larger people as the lap bar will vary it's grip with the movement of the body tissue - there, I'm trying to be polite.

My turn, enjoy your lives, smugly get on with your own and you will reap the rewards. If anybody feels they have to comment on someone else's life, it doesn't say much for their own does it? The longer you know someone, the more irrelevant the age. Mates aren't "ageist".

I too wish it did four; I am still certain that the cycle is tamer than previously.

Not quite the same thing, though all caused by pressure (I believe) but a lad next to me on Stealth yesterday, suffered a quite unexpected nose bleed as we cleared the braking zone; apparently the staff see it quite often. Luckily the lad was none the worse for it, and was able to leave under his own steam and was comfortable.

Now that is nasty, but saved by the actions of another by following the rules - perhaps the "inspector" needs a refresher course.

I thought Ben-10 may appeal to you? I do think that there may be some listed protection of the valley at Alton Towers due to it's historic origins.

Well it's been proper burgered now, and venisoon they may have to make some changes.

Posted: Tue Sep 30, 2014 5:22 pm Post subject: I went to TP today . The park was nicely empty and most rides were only five minute queues. Apart from Saw all rides seemed to be on one train, the park was really quiet. Met a couple from another Club and we even rode the Tea Cups together, a Coaster Clubber takeover, well there were only the three of us on it. During a refreshment break from Stealth, I rode Colossus twice, Nemesis Inferno and Slammer once each, but the pull of my favourite won through. Funny incident, I rode on Stealth beside a young lady who told me her mum did not want to ride it as "well, she is nearly sixty!" (that's for those that know me). Did have to remind one ride-op that part of his job was to offload, they were waiting. Watched a "manager" do his "check" visit to the loo - signing the acknowledgement paper, and not noticing me standing near the sinks, at all, as he did not walk in from the doorway. The weather was as forecast, great.

Went on Slammer a couple of times on Friday; nice but seems to be on a basic programme of three rotations in each direction, no pause in a vertical hang up.

TP today, nice to see some familiar faces! Stealth - at times very good for me, and I know if I have an advantage it's down to the staff and I appreciate it, and I do know they have rules/requirements that they have to work by. SAW was out for a while, testing, and I finally went on twice; isn't it running quietly, and at times smoothly. Colossus, well I would have gone on more than once but for the slow loading - what should have been less than ten minute queue was dragging out to twenty-five; it's a great ride.

A parent doesn't actually know what is right, they hope and think they do, because their prime aim, is to protect their offspring. The offspring and the parent rarely read the same instruction manual, you know, the one where you obey the rules, so long as it suits everybody, then if you don't, you get some form of forfeit to pay, I.e. stopped from using something. When the "young blighter" is away from the nest, the parent worries that their loved one, may be doing the things that they themselves got away with, but realized at the time it was risky. Saying "sorry" normally goes a long way in repairing damage, and if it doesn't, then one cannot be criticized for having done that. Enjoy your lives, so long as you don't force your beliefs on others, consider your life is valuable to others before you, and step back and think sometimes. Oh, and by the way, the wrong is not in doing something, it's getting caught that is wrong.

I think I'll just wait until I see the flying pigs!
