It's all true though. They are designing something from scratch, they could do pretty much whatever they wanted, they choose to do this. Why?
Cattle pens are the most effective way of holding people in a small area, Thorpe unfortunately don't have the premium of space on its side, especially around this area
This! Alton Towers I can sort of understand in some places, however even they have space issues in some areas! I'd rather have a cattlepen than people in a bundle outside the queue's entrance!

I don't like cattlepens either Mark, but people moaning about it every page gets a bit tiresome.
My point proven by Matt's post above.

*generic comment we've heard 100 times about how a dark ride's queue is important and Merlin are awful*

^ If you mean the posters then they have been stuck there for weeks now!
Edit- Also about this Jack the Ripper thing, do you think parents are going to buy tickets to take their children to a serial killer ride?
-
Fingers crossed for no IP but I'm not overly confident!

Okay.
1) It's an SFX Coaster from Dynamic Attractions.
2) Jack the Ripper is okay for a family market (look at the Dungeon)
3) You're not getting a wooden coaster. Get over it.
Or
1) There's no evidence to fully suggest that
2) Jack the Ripper isn't going to draw in any crowds (sounds like a workout DVD)
3) I think we worked out that we're not getting that 6 months ago

Not the first time I've heard that said, and it could be great, but I struggle to see how the building would be big enough to house a decent version of it.
Agreed! The track on those things is so big I doubt they'd be able to fit any inside!
-
I agree, although they do have a good variety I think! They have tonnes for families but only really 3 or 4 rides for thrill seekers, so this should fill in the gap! I just wonder if this coaster will have inversions?
-
This amazing looking coaster is getting better and better! They have added more rock theming to hide parts of the coaster in too!

I actually like the sign, I just hope they do something about the white walls above it!

Literally can't wait to see what's inside that beautiful building!
Also thanks Benin

Anyone know the best way to get to Efteling from Amsterdam?

Looks about the same as Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens in terms of tightness!
