    Thorpe music

I'm guessing you're on about WWTP Radio? If so, there's this: This guy is generally quite good with theme park music, predominantly Thorpe and other Merlin parks though.
  2. Possibly a quick fix for the leaks which occurred last weekend?
  3. I prefer fabric ones as they can actually fit my wrist. I'm not too keen on the idea of t-shirts, but something more subtle like a wristband would be pretty okay.
  4. No I do do that, but I was wondering if there was any way in which it could just open in a new tab automatically, as I'm lazy.

    The Banning Game

Banned for managing to remember Billy's monologue in the pre-show before Saw!?
  6. Has there been any sort of nod to You're Next at all in park? Asides from signage.
  7. Is there a way to make the links shared in posts automatically open in a new tab? As it's a bit of a pain on a laptop and sometimes I don't think and end up losing my place in the thread I have been reading.
  8. I think that some enthusiasts think that being an enthusiast puts them above the 'GP' as Turtle put it and makes them untouchable. That's the real problem, not being told you can't re-ride.

    Slammer

I agree with Benin, you can't blame the ride for something which is really down to you with regards to how far you choose to pull down the shoulder restraint. Whilst I know from my own experience that it can hurt a hell of a lot if you pull it down too much, it is infact possible to have the restraints down an adequate amount without injuring yourself (shocking, I know). Seems to be a bit of incompetence on your part really, sorry.
  10. I believe that Loggers closes when BWP opens due to lighting or something (JoshC can say more on this, I'm merely paraphrasing poorly).
  11. But even feeling a bit light headed after a few re-rides just before lunch could cause upset in some people. Given what some people complain about these days I don't particularly blame this kind of restriction.
  12. I believe it's been said before that the Tuesday will be the best day in the half term.
  13. Yep, queues to get in could be rather long (obviously). I'm sure the tickets can't sell out like Summer Nights tickets can, so that should all be fine.
  14. You just have a bit more attached to the cost of the ticket, it's not like Summer Nights as it's an actual Fright Nights day rather than a separate event which happens after close if that makes sense. Unsure about using 2 for 1 vouchers though, don't want to comment on it incase I'm wrong. Hope the first bit helps enough though. EDIT: Ignore me, Callum just hit the nail on the head with no rambling.
  15. My point more was, that by being made to get off the ride and walk around again, the rider may then realise their limit. Not everyone knows their tolerance to the forces a thrill ride induces as it could vary on at different times or in different conditions/circumstances. Even those who know their limit can be caught by surprise due to a number of factors.
  16. Yes but, as Fred mentioned, you may feel fine sat down, but you could stand up and be a bit like 'woah' and realise that the ride has infact affected you. Even if it's something like vertigo it can still be dreadfully debilitating for a short while.
  17. I'm heading up there at the end of the month and I've realised that it's most probably going to coincide with BPB's halloween event, how is it?
  18. Haven't really seen much on the roaming actors, were there any present last night/tonight? It's the one thing I'm most dying to hear about!
  19. Happy birthday Tommy, James, and Oliver! Hope you all have/had a nice day
  20. People who pull in closer to the kerb and speed up through a puddle in an attempt to drench you. It's all okay for you in your nice, warm and dry cars but I don't fancy being soaked further after being stuck in a hailstorm. Real thoughtful. I also need a new umbrella.

    Anti-Rant

I'm here again to bug you all Well, I got 46/50 in my coursework but as everyone else didn't do so well (the grade boundaries are really tough, you need 47 for an A*!) we've been given yet more time to go through them, and my teacher said there's no reason why I couldn't get top marks, it's made me so happy as I was panicking that I'd missed out loads and when my teacher said only two people got higher than a D, and I'd already heard two people who got Cs, I thought I'd just written 40 odd pages of utter nonsense, but thankfully not and hopefully this means I'll come out of this subject with a pretty nice grade Sorry to bother you all with my first world student problems.
  22. I'm not sure if there's a minimum number for the family AP deal, but I think that it'd probably work out better to buy a new pass in the sale. You can always compare prices and weigh it up when the time comes. Hope that helped and I actually gave you the relevant information haha.
  23. In their defense, I can see where re-riding Fury could raise a H&S issue as it can be a very spinny ride and I myself often feel faint after riding it once, say for instance you re-rode the ride a number of times, then complained of dizzyness/feeling faint or even completely blacked out or something. Then that will essentially be down to the rides team for letting you on. I'm probably completely wrong I know, but I think that pinning H&S problems onto that sort of situation on Fury is rather justifiable, albeit slightly haphazard a la Merlin. However, if the op went that much out of their way, then surely it really was an issue? I know some hosts can be a bit awkward at times but it's worth the thought I suppose.
  24. But we suffer, we deserve to have this one, come on guys. *Recalls the amount of times I've been made to trek around the entire school as noone believes in left-handed scissors*
