MBV return ? I'm doubting it as surely they would've revealed it with the rest of the lineup. If it's not that though, what could be going in that location. The shipping container hints at a maze, but I'm really not sure..
-
The majority of the attraction was dire however it did have some infrequent fun elements. Sorry for not making that clear enough in my previous post.
-
Containment was dire imo. It was quite fun I guess, and the actress in the last room went rather crazy on everyone, but overall it wasn't great. It wasn't scary in the slightest, the puzzles (excluding the last one) were fairly easy to solve and therefore we progressed quickly. For £8, it's not something I'd do again in a hurry. I would love to do FIA but sadly I still have another 4 years until I'd be able to

Most intense on swarm I'd say is back left / right. Least intense is either rows 3/4 on the inside left imo.

Ive had this song on repeat for the last 3 days! It is seriously good

My point exactly. The majority of people don't go to Thorpe Park to sit on a beach, that isn't really even a beach. Replace it with either a new ride, or put a new plaza area/ non ride area in its location.

I have wayyy too much theme park merch! To name a few though: 8 mugs (from Towers, Thorpe & Magic Kingdom) 4 t-shirts (Thorpe and MK) Too many on ride photos (I won't even give the number but it's more than 10) Levitating Train () Add a few fortune teller cards and some old park maps and there you go; my collection of merch!

Still waiting on a Skin Snatchers teaser.. We got the TOTT and Sub Species ones nearly a month ago. Surely it's about time we got a small hint of what surprises are in store for us.

Fairly happy with this horror makeup practice in build up to Halloween. Could be better. The latex is falling off (it is quite visible) on the ride side of the wound. For my first attempt since April however, I'm happy with my result

Put the boomerang on the beach. Please! The beach is pointless!

Uploaded my first sort of vlog, more of a montage. This basically sums up my trip to Italy. Hope you enjoy

I sprayed my hair blue. Once. Last month. I went to Thorpe Park. It rained. It stained my forehead. And everywhere on my face really. I've learned from my mistakes. Don't pick a day to spray your hair when it rains.

It's such a shame Experiment 10 is gone. It looked like such a great attraction! I completely agree with @imindetonator. Fright Nights last year was complete and utter shambles. Not one of the mazes (bar Saw Alive) were even average. They were all just so bad! MBV would have been an exception, but we were in and out within 90 seconds due to the shortening of it.

One week it's been closed for. Not good at all given that the ride has only been open for a month and is already suffering extended downtime..
-
Last week I think. However long it's been it's been too long!

Summer fireworks could appeal to the public? If not they could do some other free event to keep people on park til a later time of 8-9pm. Keep the majority of rides open and do a cheaper entry fee if you arrive after 4, and voila, more people staying until later times.

Derren Browns Ghost Hotel The worlds first hotel fully dedicated to virtual reality. The scariest part is I can see this happening someday

I never went on The Flume

You have places like Adventure Island until 10pm in the summer, which is how it should be during the summer. Then you have Thorpe Park closing at 6pm during the summer, with rare extended openings until 6-30... This needs sorting out badly..

No, I was referring to another high up member of staff when I was there a few weeks back who clearly a very important member who has been working on the Ghost Train. I also said in one of my previous posts how the founder of Figment, who created the VR, stated that the tech wasn't quite there yet and that when the technology advances it can free up companies like them to deliver what they've been tasked with.
-
The VR that they spent a lot of time and money working on, as said by the founder of Figment, "wasn't quite there yet". Derren wanted a rather complex virtual reality element with a lot more interaction with the characters, however the technology they were using wasn't capable of doing that. Therefore, they made a few average segments to put in the ride for now, hopefully while they work on getting the other stuff they wanted.
