AHEM but this is the greatest musical creation in history and also a shout out to the Mario And sonic at the 2012 Olympic games music too because I can never get it out of my head as I must have played this every day when I was ten/eleven

I'm so sorry that this happened, but she lived a long and happy life! I hope you are okay, losing a pet is the worst.

In terms of books, it's a draw. Both are great. in terms of Films, Hunter games because 1) Jennifer Lawrence and 2) I've never cried more at a film than I have with Mockinjay pt 2. And the Maze runner film was utter ****, sorry. Invisibility powers or telekinesis?

Apple all the way. Teletubbies or Bob the builder (the original Bob, not the crappy reboot)?
  6. Learn as much as possible. Tell him it was simply too much, that you actually need to have a life outside of school and homework. And if he's anything like my drama teacher, he'll forget. I want to peruse a career in film and tv (I want to work at pinewood) but I'm not sure if my choice of drama GCSE was correct. I think I should have taken resistant materials instead, it would probably be much more beneficial to me.

Banned for making in-jokes that only apply to you two
  8. I once sold a dino dipper pop badge from legoland for £18. Blimey. I also see old maps for about £7 so I make sure to get about five when I visit a theme park as they'll be worth something in the future (because someone out there is willing to pay seven quid for a formerly free item).

J.J Abrams Lens flare! Donald Trump becoming president or Shrek becoming president?
  11. I Can imagine that Your Average Tumblr SJWtm would find it racist, but to be honest, that isn't racism. It's literally someone speaking in an oriental accent. With this kind of thinking, you could say that many rides are 'racist'. I think the current announcement is a very monotone British man saying 'Wise dragon say, you must keep your arms and legs inside the boat at all times' and It just seems very out of place.

  13. I've stayed at a place called Peakstone Inn both times when I've gone to Towers with my family (2010, 2014). It's been very nice both times I've gone, though we had to stay in a portacabin outside and It was a bit of a building site last time I went. The place where you eat is very nice, quiet, not a giant range of food but still very nice. First time we went, there was a complication with our food order and after an hour of waiting, my mum recieved a chicken dish instead of a veggie one, but staff we kind enough to refund her and give her the veg meal. There's also kareoke (where a very scared eight year old me sang supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as a dare from my dad) The breakfast room is covered in toys won at Towers' game stalls, which is very unique, plus it's very close to the park. I think prices are reasonable too, and the landlady is very friendly. Here's its Tripadvisor page if you're interested at all.

Yes, I was there too. It's a popular event so it was likely that you weren't going to be the only member there (one of my friends that I went with is also on this site, but I don't know their username)! I did see some of the characters, had a fun interaction with Kylo Ren , an imperial officer and Han Solo! Me and my group were stopped by little kids and their mums for photos despite our costumes being terrible...

Can I just say that the Star Wars event on Monday was, for me, AMAZING. Me and four of my nerdy friends all went, dressed up (I seemed to be the only Hux on park ) It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be, and the events going on, though we didn't really join in with them, seemed good. Got a good amount of rides in too for a bank holiday. Only thing really was the bad weather towarss the end of the day, but you can't help that.
  16. All in tracksuits, and the really chavvy kind. Had that banger of a haircut that every year six boy strives to have, wet looked gel roughly pulled into a spike in the middle.
  17. Not exactly a Rant but came out of the Inferno exit through the shop today and saw four boys, who must have been about ten or eleven, being talked to by security. According to a member of my family who was standing outside, one tried to smuggle a Nemesis Infenro mug out of the shop, only to put it back seconds later, and they were also calling each other '****ers' and '****ing ****s' really loudly across the shop, and also being rude to staff. Even as I walked past them, I could hear them being cocky to security, telling one to shut up! These kids must've only been primary school age (year seven at a stretch) but they had the audacity to do stuff like that! Makes me want to go up to them, throttle them and tell them to bloody grow up! At least I have respect for my elders!
  18. Ghost Train was looking good today! It was my dad's fist time on park this season and he was really impressed! He's just your average member of the GP so hopefully a lot of other people are thinking the same thing. He said 'It looks like it's been sat there for years, or they've just plonked an old train depot there!'
  19. I think Slammer had some downtime earlier as I was queueing for Colossus, but was open by the time I was off!
  20. I'm not exactly new, but this is a new account. My old account was also under the name Whatever (originally Thoreparkfreak ugh) but when the update happened a few days ago, my account was lost, and all my old posts come under the name 'guest'. (A big thank you to Marc and the mania hub team who tried to get it back!)

This sounds awesome, though I really do not see the point on yet MORE accommodation. Great to see that a new roller coaster is being planned though!
  22. I was scared as heck before my first maze (studio 13). Most of Thorpe's are crap. Long wait times for little scares. However Blair Witch is the most atmospheric. Just do them. You won't regret it.
  23. I believe a full version was posted onto YouTube and was deleted. That's all I know of it. Most likely any videos longer than that snippet have been removed.
