I think it is perfectly certain that given evidence, there will  be one major thing happening with 2018 Fright Nights.

Poor, fine. But the E-stops clearly we not operational reasons, but more guest related... something no one can stop. Big Top has this year gone 2 days without one e-stop. So, operational wise, its the best its been in the 3 years.

I wouldnt say the three e-stops on big top in an hour would be bad operations. They could have all been for valid reasons, like guest action, security, first aid, which would be out of anyones control.  2015 Big Tops e-stops on the other hand, would have been classes as bad operations

Derrens tower has been there and on since the press night and working sunday... and there was only one tower at tidal wave by the exit ramp, nothing at KFC at all. Tho truss has appeared by the smoking truck over the weekend, so maybe there's even more to come? Living nightmare/Old town has had more installed since press night too.

Yeah, I mean the focus is on getting the IP's and as such the quality of the mazes isn't as good - which surely correlates with my favourite mazes being the original concept ones?
 
(Not that it's a bias - I just happened to feel that they were the strongest mazes this weekend).

A lighting and sound upgrade wouldn't be done by engineers though
 
The upgrades they've done to the ride experience don't sound like they'd have taken a month, so part of me wouldn't be surprised if they were waiting on a replacement part / parts, and used the time to tart the ride up a bit rather than wait till this coming winter.

You think it's possible to flatten and rebuild a complete new entrance in 4 months, with that being 1 of the 2 only bridges accessing the park? Things have to be done in stages and slowly, mainly down to planning permission and min disturbance to the parks operations.

No independent owner would ever be able to afford a complete renovation. just look at the time its taking to just get the plans submitted for Kent, and thats being backed by a lot of money.

Hi guys.... I got a sneak preview of the new IAC for this year and they have massively improved it with lots of audience participation and more actors and really love the new version. I guess this is why they can only afford to run it during peak times. Well worth a fresh visit I think.
