June 1, 200817 yr comment_27785 B has always been slightly lower than A but it has been extremely more noticeable this season.
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27788 No and stop talking rubbish when you dont know about it . Rides open late all the time due to whatever reason, even engineers being stuck on a different ride until late.
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27789 Whos tlking rubbish?and what is the rubbish..... dont confuse me.. I already have a headache lol
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27790 They both swing to the same height give or take a few meters, otherwise they get out of sync, the ride spazzes out and has to shut down.
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27791 I didnt think it seemed right................Was me seeing things then ... wait.. thats not a good thing
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27802 Seeing thing is never good.As for the grease on the fence thing, could have been next to moving part.
June 1, 200817 yr comment_27808 I was there on the day of the incident and Rush opened at least 15 minutes after the gates did. It was also testing about 10 minutes before the park opened which is quite unusual as it usually opens with the park whenever I go. Maybe there was a slight problem which the engineers noticed during testing which may have been entirely resolved? Could it have been linked as well? The ride would not have opened if that was the case.I don't know if any of you have noticed but Swing B has also been swinging much lower than A and sometimes only getting to 90 degrees. Could that have been due to a loose part? The ride has never been 'perfect' due to the ride arriving badly made as it was a prototype - you could even go as far as saying Thorpe is at fault for buying it as a prototype - but I am sure they got compensation for it's first few years of poor running. And the Slammer downtime has nothing to do with the Rush incident - Slammer should be back up soon!
June 2, 200817 yr comment_27810 There are loads of reasons why the swings may look as if or infact do not swing to the same height: from point of view to windy conditions, anything can make a ride change e.g. Slammer and high winds can make it freak out sometimes.
June 2, 200817 yr comment_27813 does anybody know when it will be bk on and working again I really wish it would hurry up I miss it so muchI went on sat and got bounce bk so hopefully wen I go bk it will be working again
June 2, 200817 yr comment_27815 Rush will probably be unavailable for the best part of a month and a half considering what they have to do to it - I would say they'd have it open by the start of the Summer Holidays though - they've just got to wait for new parts, the ride to be checked over and for it to open again.

June 3, 200817 yr comment_27863 I miss rush .. and I'm not even there :S..Gah! Slammer, I hate that thing....
June 3, 200817 yr comment_27879 I know what you mean the force of rush is just amazing and I love the music its all such a great ride. can any one tell me if they know that rush will be working on the 27th of june as thats when I'm going many thanksand also was it the moving bit in the end did we find out I know there was grease on the fence and from that I assume that it is but what was it any one know thanks
June 5, 200817 yr comment_27946 Conversly, they may not want to release a date because then they will get people moaning and ironically, asking questions, if it doesn't open on or before that date.
June 5, 200817 yr comment_27957 I cant ever remember the park releasing a date for a ride to re-open after a technical fault, they won't do it now.
June 5, 200817 yr comment_27997 WHy do people want to know anyway.EVERYONE knows the fun is in the surprise >_>:angry:Maybe I lied....But yeh, yay for rush having a crap.Oh's Wells.....Rides will be rides....
June 5, 200817 yr comment_28000 mesa agrees...lolI'll be much more delightful if I just turn up to thorpe and its suddenly open again.. instead of being disappointed by them setting a date and then not meeting it..
June 7, 200817 yr comment_28120 Rush's slightly damaged footrest has been taken off, for repair I suspect. The fence has also been replaced and repaired, I didnt get a picture as I dont take pictures of planks of wood unfortunatly.
June 8, 200817 yr comment_28127 The irony of Marc referring to someone as sad is to much for this Mark to take
June 8, 200817 yr comment_28160 Have read on a few other sites that S&S have been on site and have performed low level swings of rush to look closer at the part that fell and why it fell.ALso mentions chance of major mods and we will be lucky if Rush is back for Fright Nights.Anyone know if there is likely to be any truth in this rumour.
June 8, 200817 yr comment_28175 I went today with Frankie Holly and Joe (but they ran off, how rude! Sexytime methinks)It was a shame to see Rush not working, the footrest is NOT back on... didn't take a picture because I'm not a freak :lol:Edit: Sorry, I have poor eyesight
June 8, 200817 yr comment_28177 Sexytime, no? Whilst around the area of Rush the footrest was not on but the fence was fixed.
June 8, 200817 yr comment_28179 I didnt get a picture as I dont take pictures of planks of wood unfortunatly. That's not what I saw last closed season mr simpson. Unless you class wood which has been painted as sommet else/special
