December 11, 20177 yr comment_254556 Thickest Kicks just made my morning, I love the Dutch! Although hard gaarn or however you spell it was brilliant too, so I'm sad to see that go!
January 5, 20187 yr comment_255063 Lastest rumours suggest that Walibi are now planning their new coaster to open in 2020, instead of 2019. I doubt it's a coincidence that this comes off the back of Efteling saying that their big new area featuring a coaster is coming in 2020. Surprising really, as I'd have thought the park would want to avoid essentially competing with Efteling, and instead have a year where they've got the big new for the Netherlands. Unless they're planning on just riding off of Efteling's popularity to try and get more foreigners visit..
January 5, 20187 yr comment_255064 Who know that the Netherlands would be one of the most exciting coaster countries of this decade..
January 5, 20187 yr comment_255065 RMC Robin Hood please (mainly because I can't really think of anything else the park could do with)...
January 5, 20187 yr comment_255066 Two potentially exciting additions to the Dutch park’s sounds great. I wonder if Toverland will get something new agsin? I don’t have 2020 vision.

I wouldn't mind one of the new Mack spinning coasters a la Time Traveller either. Certainly would plug a hole and fit the unique for Europe bill.. Though if we're being realistic, it'll probably just end being the S&S free spin...

So after all that, the park have decided to go back to their old slogan, Hard Gaan. Because, y'know...
February 6, 20187 yr comment_255735 And in a twist, it looks like the park have decided to do their big new thing for 2019, and it'll seemingly be an RMC of their Vekoma woodie, Robin Hood: https://www.facebook.com/walibiholland/posts/1857198800988568
February 6, 20187 yr comment_255736 When did Holland suddenly become the theme park capital of Europe?

February 6, 20187 yr comment_255738 Some quotes from the park: This is the dream of many amusement park fans in Europe. We are very happy that we can now make it known. The speed will naturally be a lot higher, the rest will be announced at a later stage. The ride will close in September, and open July 1st next year. There'll be a new name and theme. https://www.looopings.nl/weblog/9499/Walibi-Holland-vervangt-Robin-Hood-door-hypermoderne-houten-achtbaan.html Fantastic to see more serious investment in the park, and more stuff in The Netherlands
February 8, 20187 yr comment_255776 Goliath, Lost Gravity and an RMC?! Nice to see the park doing a Liseberg and replacing their meh stuff with coasters more fitting. Fantastic news, very excited!
November 19, 20186 yr comment_261423 Because apparently Dutch law means all new major rides MUST have a behind the scenes documentary on them...
December 11, 20186 yr comment_261763 Track is going on place, as can be seen on the park's Instagram...
December 17, 20186 yr comment_261845 Installment the second... Some facts (with Robin Hood's in brackets)... Length: 1085m (1005m) Speed: 57.2mph (49.7mph) Height: 120ft (105ft) The drop out of the station goes into a 45 degree outward bank turn, which is now built (but I can't seem to put a picture of it in..)
January 18, 20196 yr comment_262541 Next episode of Making Of Untamed series is up... Key takeaways: 40 degree lift hill, at a height of 36.5m 80 degree, 35.4m drop Mini airtime hill after first drop
January 22, 20196 yr comment_262572 First Drop (the ECC's magazine) are reporting that Untamed will have 5 inversions, 2 more than any other RMC.
January 22, 20196 yr comment_262579 I dunno which RMC I'm more interested in, Energylandias for the height or this for the inversions and twisty stuff
January 23, 20196 yr comment_262581 Scott's a happy soul, isn't he? I guess this will be our most accessible RMC from the UK for now, certainly considering a visit.

In terms of time and distance, this will be our most accessible. But Energylandia is also very easy to get to as well, and I imagine if you hunt around, the cost of flights isn't that different. So we're spoilt for choice! Just need one in the UK now please..
January 23, 20196 yr comment_262583 Wildfire is only a short hop, skip and jump from Stockholm Skavasta airport as well... We have THREE all easily accessible from the UK...

January 25, 20196 yr comment_262606 About time Europe started getting more RMC’s to go along with Wildfire!! Now if the UK could hurry up and give us one, that would very much be appreciated!! Untamed looks like it’s going to be a very strong contender for the best coaster in Europe when it’s open (It’s RMC so I’d expect nothing less than a solid coaster) and will also make Walibi Holland a real must do park given the park also consists of Goliath, Lost Gravity and El Condor.... ok only two of those are great!!... jury is still out on Lost Gravity. Can’t wait to get to this park at some time in 2019.
