November 15, 201014 yr comment_103431 The main part is up... And a 3rd inversion (after the advertised 2) has been added!B&M <3
November 15, 201014 yr comment_103443 Cheers for posting the overview Benin, I saw a picture of the 3rd inversion yesterday from ground level but couldn't picture where it'd fit into the rest of the layout. Unfortunately it loses one point for having trims Still, Air has trims which do absolutely nothing to the ride, so hopefully these will be the same. Also, at least they're after the airtime hill. So, the only thing remaining is to see what fills in between the lift and Zero G... I'm wondering if we'll see a plain curving drop from lift to roll, or maybe something else... Straight drop into horseshoe turn please
December 1, 201014 yr comment_104418 Double post - sorry. Looks like I got my wish!Straight drop So presumably some sort of overbanked turn will follow, or perhaps a fourth inversion in the form of a dive or immelman loop.
December 1, 201014 yr comment_104438 Yay for straight drop meaning it had to do something else before the zero-g
December 8, 201014 yr comment_104697 Yay for straight drop meaning it had to do something else before the zero-g Wahey, it actually has a 90 degree turn...I think the layout is also completed, meaning that the trains are the last thing to look forward to...
December 8, 201014 yr comment_104704 I may never have been to Gardaland, but just looking at those pictures and others, you can just tell that it fits in perfectly. What's more, it is a sexy, elegant looking B&M. Bring on the trains!
December 8, 201014 yr comment_104706 Yep Benin, track was completed about 3 days ago. I seriously can't wait to see the trains!
December 8, 201014 yr comment_104715 That wingrider sure looks good at Gardaland. Anyone know if any construction on Krake at Heide Park has started yet?
December 8, 201014 yr comment_104716 Really like the look of this ride, it seems it will be another triumph for B&M
January 9, 201114 yr comment_106479 Man that is just sheer beauty Some interesting facts in there too - trains of 7 rows x 4 seats and 6.5 metres wide - my god! When this starts testing I think I'm gonna die!
January 11, 201114 yr comment_106541 Looks lush! Do we have any idea if the queue and station will be themed much? Gardaland has pretty good theming across the park, so hopefully this will have some.
January 19, 201114 yr comment_107010 How to advertise your new roller-coaster, brought to you by Gardaland... EDIT - Also it seems they've dropped the X from the title, leaving us just with RAPTOR...
January 19, 201114 yr comment_107033 ^When the name was stated, it was said to either be X-Raptor or Raptor. I actually prefer just Raptor..And a very nice video too..
January 19, 201114 yr comment_107045 http://www.gardaland.it/en/genetix_lab/If only Merlin put in as much effort over here. Good backstory, video and nice shots of the track.
February 3, 201114 yr comment_108172 The colours are a bit more 'army like' than I was expecting, but still, looks very good!
February 3, 201114 yr comment_108178 ^I was just about to post that...It looks incredibly graceful and reminds me a lot of Air... A very good thing imo... Cannot wait to ride this...
February 4, 201114 yr comment_108194 My most anticipated ride of the year now... and thats saying a lot. Agreed with Benin, it looks far more floaty then I thought it would. More of an Air then a Nemesis.
