JoeyH
If it is the one used in the Tussaud's Q video then it's Adagio for Strings, but I don't think this is the thing your're talking about

richy2001
which ride music does everyone prefer? slammer 2006? -or- slammer 2007?because the theme music for slammer this year doesnt seem to match what the ride is, fast and exhilerating, which is what the 2006 music did because it was fast paced, where as 2007 brought the slow and subdued music? richy2001
I know!I think we should make a stand on this one and protest that they change it back! I wonder what they'd do if we did? *thinks*
richy2001
now that is true!!surely its only there as a kind of background, but we dont really want to hear it all the time? they do play some good music on there though?I was listening to it whilst queueing for stealth and they played some old favourites! richy2001
when I last went I wasnt in the queue long enought to hear them re-play any of the songs as the queue was surprisingly short?
richy2001
but wasnt the attitude tussauds had? it might not be the same with merlin?
MikeC
Nothing will be apparant that it changed owners until possibly next season. A lot still has to go through the system again.
richy2001
but surely, merlin are still going to run it like tussauds, but hopefully keep ride downtime to a minimum!

Marc
Id like to know what on earth is going on with music at the park, its dreadful at the moment and seems to get worse every trip, the biggest annoyance is still that WWTP stealth side is on a short loop meaning songs get irritating hearing them 2/3 times a day, and when in the queue when a good song finally comes on the whole q line audio cuts out, and then when arriving next to the station its impossible to talk due to the speakers being so loud. James
Tis true I suppose, the queueline speakers are working better than the plaza speakers IMO though, one speaker on the truck was working at minimum volume and the little green ones around the diner were also working at minimum volume - too low to hear what was playing! Detonator still needs more speakers installing - ONE platform speaker isnt enough!
Steven G
I;ve never liked the Detonator music
Marc
The old detonator was great, really bought atmosphere to the q/ride what has just totally gone now unfortunately.
