April 5, 201015 yr comment_88533 Someone must have been to Legoland this year, whats the new area like? (Or should I say a pirate theme thats just been slightly rejuvinated)
April 5, 201015 yr comment_88535 ^ I was just going to mention that, I've not seen any pictures at all. Or even written reviews of the new ride/ re-vamped Pirate Falls.
April 5, 201015 yr comment_88541 Pirate Falls is now called Pirate Falls: Dynamite DrenchIts not *actually* had a revamp as I and most others expected. It's merely had a couple of new cannons added, they shoot water. In terms of the area, it's all exactly the same as before. Nothing has been changed. The old picnic area that was opposite The Rat Trap is obviously where Jolly Rocker is. The Rat Trap has been renamed and shortened a little, cant remember what it's called now.The entrance to the area just has a new Banner, which is the same design as Mutiny Bay, but with 'Pirates Landing' on it.So yes....
April 5, 201015 yr comment_88543 Oh...Wasn't expecting huge amounts but possibly more than that. Although then again when your re-theming an area themed similar to pirates, to a pirate land, what do you expect.
April 6, 201015 yr comment_88638 Bitterly dissappointed with legos new area, in that unlike the planning applications everything looks like wild woods, just with a pirate ship in there.Pirates Training Camp (rat trap) is alright with the new back area.. but the entire of the old area looks rotten and mank, so completely contrasts with its new part.It plays the mutiny bay stuff as well, which is frustrating as it is nowhere near on the same level as mutiny - the entire area just feels so typically lego cheap, which is mad considering they now have the tussauds studios expertise which have done amazing transformations at chessie and ugland this year.
April 14, 201015 yr comment_89464 What are the queues like there? I haven't been in about a good 10 years.
April 14, 201015 yr comment_89465 The Queues are just like any other Theme Park.Horrendous during Peak Periods, and fairly quiet during Off-Peak
April 14, 201015 yr comment_89475 Thanks, but how long roughly fro stuff like the Dragon or the spider one, sorry I've forgotten the name, or the rapids.
April 18, 201015 yr comment_89879 Thanks, but how long roughly fro stuff like the Dragon or the spider one, sorry I've forgotten the name, or the rapids.I went on the 15th and the queues were 45 mins for the dragon and jolly rocker and 60 mins for pirate falls,,+ I found this on the LEGOLAND website .. Please note - the Jungle Coaster is on the move…..It has been relocated to another LEGOLAND Park to make way for an exciting development – a brand new hotel offering families the ultimate sleepover destination. In 2011 the Park plans to open a fantastic, groundbreaking attraction, unlike anything ever seen before at a LEGOLAND Park. Watch this space for more details….
April 18, 201015 yr comment_89881 Sounds exciting.Apparently this is the layout of the new coaster. Taken from TPR.
April 18, 201015 yr comment_89888 It's alright, jungle has gone to florida, and the new coaster *should* be a launched.. dunno how on earth that'll work in a legoland park though.
April 18, 201015 yr comment_89897 Possibly.I keep thinking this will be based around Lego Harry Potter and Quiddich? No Idea Why.
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89912 Unless they've changed their plans, it'll be based around lego agents.
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89968 ^ Ah yes, I remember reading that somewhere, also wasn't another idea where your the cops and your chasing the robbers after they've just robbed a bank. Or am I way off :)If I remember correctly, other theme ideas included the obvious LEGO racers.
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89984 Sounds exciting.Apparently this is the layout of the new coaster. Taken from TPR.The layout on that is exactly the same as the dragon...
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89986 Ah maybe it's just showing it's a similar size to the Dragon, which I'd be quite happy about. And are you absolutely sure it is identical? I can see some parts of it are similar but can't quite fit it in exactly, may be my poor memory though...Edit: Yes you are correct, it is identical to the Dragon, looked a bit closer and yes
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89987 A launched coaster would work perfectly for the park. Also would be good to have another in the country down south. Still a bit disappointed I never got on Jungle Coaster, but ah well.

April 19, 201015 yr comment_89990 Oh you've missed out on nothing. I mean I rode it when it wasn't a golf buggy and it was still trimmed to hell and boring.More just to add to my coaster count if I'm honest!
April 19, 201015 yr comment_89991 I definitely agree, but please, PLEASE! Be high capacity, that park doesn't have a single ride that does well with queue's!And I only got to ride Jungle Coaster when it became Caravan on rails: The Ride, and if it had to stay like that, it's better gone to somewhere where it can run as a good ride.
April 20, 201015 yr comment_90099 I definitely agree, but please, PLEASE! Be high capacity, that park doesn't have a single ride that does well with queue's!VRS at over a thousand, and dragon three trains at 900 or so, spider at 1100 and fairy tale brook around the same. Mmmm.
April 20, 201015 yr comment_90104 Ok well apart from a few , I was talking about the majority.... But gosh, they've surprised me lol, It must just be me where everything "seems" slower, to me in the past anyway.Sorry for my stupidity.
