July 25, 201015 yr comment_95480 I personally think that the whole moderation thing has gone a bit pear shaped, people are allowed to post crap still and nothings done about it. People can be pompous bee-stings and get away with it.
July 30, 201015 yr comment_95646 Hi Mark,Sorry was me that locked that topic but with stuff with my Grandma its been a bit rough recently. Topic was just locked to let everyone calm down and stop losing their panties Sorry again, guys.I think everyone has got the panties secured now... :huh:Also, can anyone offer a concrete explanation as to why the TP forum is locked to members? Ryan did give a view, yes, but nothing concrete.
July 30, 201015 yr comment_95653 Members are not able to create topics in the TP forum for the simple reason that it was simply filled up with so many topics asking the same thing, we then decided it would be best to lock the forum, with an already established set of topics covering pretty much everything which is "General thorpe park" , members are then encouraged to create new topics in the other sub forums where 9 times out of 10 they fit in more. If there is a topic you feel in missing its easily dealt with, and of course if anyone has opinions on this we are more than happy to look at possible better solutions to this
July 30, 201015 yr comment_95655 ^Minimum post count of 10?Then mods ensure that these 10 posts are actually worthwhile and not pointless spamming... Giving them time to sort the new member out should they be useless and contributing nothing...
February 22, 201114 yr comment_109352 No idea where to ask this, but anyways...Why's the Storm Surge topic locked? Is it because of all the endless talk about the PR just getting boring, or what?
February 22, 201114 yr comment_109353 No idea where to ask this, but anyways...Why's the Storm Surge topic locked? Is it because of all the endless talk about the PR just getting boring, or what? On going debate about a differing opinion between one person who placed an opinion in that topic, and the person it was discussed about.Lets hope we, as a team, can all see clarity very, very soon.
May 8, 201114 yr comment_115190 Okay, I'm confused...Why am I allowed to post images, yet not allowed to use emoticons? :S
May 8, 201114 yr comment_115196 It comes up with a red box saying:'You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board.':S
May 8, 201114 yr comment_115197 Same goes for gifs... How else am I meant to entertain the lovely people here?
December 1, 201113 yr comment_128235 Not sure where to post this so if it's incorrectly placed, would somebody please move it? :)What is the group 'gone away' all about? It has been getting me for ages...
December 1, 201113 yr comment_128240 I'm sure a Mod or Admin knows more than me, but it seems after a month or so of inactivity you drop into 'gone away', which is fair enough. But when people return it sometimes takes ages for them to move back into 'members' and that bugs me for some reason, just grates when people are 'gone away' yet active and posting.

December 10, 201113 yr comment_128523 Is there a way of 'blocking' (and, at a later date, unblocking) yourself from viewing certain topics?
December 16, 201113 yr comment_128748 Me again, being a pain...Just for future reference, how many pictures are allowed in a single post? Has been annoying in the past for me when I get told I've got too many pictures, and not known what the actual limit is...Ta
March 23, 201213 yr comment_134897 One .gif image per post was the "agreed" "unwritten rule". So yes, as long as the quantity or frequency of posts with .gifs in them is not abused and the 'gifs themselves are not used in an overtly abusive way, then they can be permitted.
March 9, 201312 yr comment_152401 I'm on an Android phone, and I see there is a paid app that supports this forum. Don't really wanna pay for an app, does anyone know of a free one that supports this forum?
March 9, 201312 yr comment_152408 There won't be, as the forums is run by Invision it will be at their discretion whether they allow other apps to copy their coding etc. So the only option really is the standard internet browser. If you don't like using the mobile version, at the bottom of the page on your phone there should be an option to see the page how you would on your normal computer/laptop which is very slightly better because you have full usage of the options and features

We have TapTalk setup on here -http://www.tapatalk.com/ Not sure what its like on Android but on iPhone its quite good
March 10, 201312 yr comment_152420 The free mobile version works fine for me. I like it as long as I'm not trying to attach photos / videos or do mod stuff, then I can just flick to full version for a bit. No need to pay!
