The mysterious pink track outside this park has finally been given some recognition. The new roller coaster will feature the name "DC Rivals Hypercoaster" which is a bit of a dull name but nevetheless, it still looks to be a great success with all the airtime and especially that bright colour.

not sure whether anyone has ever been to ocean park but does who have here is the discussion. Ocean park is located in Hong Kong, for those who don't know, and it has two parts to its park. One up in the mountains, and one below. To get up to the mountain, there are Cable cars, and those who are a bit scared or like a different experience can go on the train. heres a POV of there newest ride, Hair Raiser a B&M Floorless Coaster, (not taken by me): And in my opinion the best few rides there: There log flume is very good, better than loggers in terms of thrill. it has two hills as much as I can remember. First one is very similar to the one in loggers, howeve…

I have came back from Florida in September 2011, I visited every single park in 2weeks It was possibly the best place I've ever visited so far. I went when I was a lot younger however this past year was the best by far. We flew over to Chicago/Newyork/Florida, It started off easy by going to Sea World enjoying the views and checking out all the different varietys of sea creatures and mammals. And It took us only 30minute into the park we decided to take the leap onto their largest attraction 'Manta' I'm sure to say that ride has to be the best flying coaster I've ridden. I would love Thorpe Park to get one in the near future. They really do pack a punch. We also did…

So, it looks like there's a new theme park on its way in the USA: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.al.com/articles/19595697/roller_coaster_rivaling_longes.amp?client=safari The 520 acre development is in Alabama and will contain a 14 acre lake, a 150 room hotel and a theme park. The theme park will have 3 large scale thrill rides - one of which is claimed to be the second longest in the USA and looks to be manufactured by zamperla. Nice fly through: The concept art looks amazing and incredibly highly themed too. Reminds me slightly of the concept art for paramount because of the grandness:

Along with every other chain in the world, Six Flags is opening a park in Dubai! Concept art shows a Mack Boomerang Splash like the new Pulsar at Walibi Belgium, as well as a potential Zacspin or S&S Free Fly Aside from a huge air-conditioned area (a necessity I'm sure!) and the potential dark ride sported by Six Flags Fiesta Texas, it screams Six Flags very very much

Entertainment Company have created the world’s first live interactive GHOSTBUSTERS attraction, under License from Sony Pictures Consumer Products, and launched into previews this past weekend ahead of an expected blockbuster Summer season starting mid-July. The company has inked a three year deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products in Los Angeles, and continues its relationship with Six Flags Mexico following the success of the Company’s previous attractions there, ‘The Van Helsing Experience Live!’ and ‘TerminatorX: A Laser Battle for Salvatio…

If you ever get a chance. This is a very small family park in Connecticut, North America, with a great water park and lake, but a fabulous woodie named Wooden Warrior. This has a very small footprint, only cost one million dollars and is a fabulous wooden roller coaster. http://www.wfsb.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=10278178

Hi All, I couldn't find a thread on this already so I figured I'd start my own. Wanted to know if any of you have ever been or are planning to go to Aquopolis water park in Spain? It is just down from PortAventura in a place called La Pineda and it claims to be... "The Best Water Park". Probably what made me choose this over Costa Cariba was that it also had a dolphin show at the end of the day so I felt I was getting a little more for money, and the ticket was slightly cheaper than Cariba as well. However, I probably wouldn't go back. Compared to the likes of Wet n Wild, Blizzard Beach etc in Florida this one doesn't really match up. That being said, some of the slide…

In rather sad and unexpected news, it has been announced that California's Great America will be closing within the next 11 years, as Cedar Fair has sold the land it sits on to a company planning to develop it for real estate: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220623005938/en/Cedar-Fair-Capitalizes-on-Opportunity-to-Sell-Its-Land-at-California’s-Great-America-Amusement-Park This money is being used to reduce Cedar Fair's debt. I don't know about any of you, but this comes as a big surprise to me; CGA had a very elaborate masterplan only a few years ago, if I'm remembering correctly, so something must have changed drastically.

We have a variety of threads for parks all around the world. But it's perhaps hard to track things. And there's also plenty of parks which we don't have threads for. BUT. Loads of parks around the world are getting new major rides for 2025. So let's try something new, and track them all in one thread. So this will be the life and soul of any non-UK ride getting built. Some bigger / more popular parks / rides might get their own thread / attention, but this is for a bit of everything... So here's a few to get us started... Walibi Holland are getting YoY, a pair of duelling RMC single rail raptors... The green trac…

Interesting vid about Six Flags, and the endangered amusement park. Six Flags & The Endangered Amusement Park Was thinking that Thorpe Park was on the ball back in 2008 for the SAW IP, seeing the future trend of IP in parks. Saying that, Six Flags did have WB IP in the parks in the early 2000's. I suppose parks in the UK don't directly compete with the likes of Disney/Universal, whereas in the States Six Flags kind of do.
