Why were large security guards at Thorpe Park last night beating up young black boys and girls when they were not doing anything wrong. Then they put them in handcuffs when they had not committed any crimes . Security would NOT provide any details about themselves to the public.

Hi All, I'm a bit of an amateur photographer and took my camera with me on Tuesday (10/07/2018). Quite happy with some of the shots. Please note that I have personally taken the images and if you do wish to use them elsewhere then please ask my permission first, but just really wanted to share these! Hope you like them.

I’ve planned to come to Thorpe Park but all of my friends ditched me the last minute. I really can’t bear spending Halloween without doing anything scary... I’ve read posts about people going there by themselves and it’s gonna turn out so bad. Please reply if anyone’s going by themselves today!!!

With the mixed reviews Fright Nights have received this year, I thought it might be interesting to hear what you'd change about the event if you were given the task by the park. I'm not talking about wild aspirations here - no Halloween themed RMCs built for FN '22 please! 😂 Imagine you're in Thorpe's position, and this is your brief: You have a limited budget (same budget as 2021) to deliver Fright Nights 2022 There must be "something new and unique" that can be marketed by the park There's limited resources to get this done - imagine how this is in reality, a small team to deliver the event What would your realist…

So we all know us curvy women have extra lumps and bumps that the seats aren’t so accommodating for, that’s no surprise! That in mind I thought a general discussion thread of size would be fair. I was thinking of a quick fire answers of size (measurement if you’re brave), which rides you did and did not fit on and any tips? No shaming, no nasty comments and just great general chubby gal advice! I’ll go first! Size 16 top, 18 on bottoms and fit on all the rides/test seats! I carry my weight mainly on my lower half FYI. My tip is tipping forward in your seat to try and squish your bum back and in your seat!

Talking with my "late eightys" Aunty, when I informed her of my enthusiasm for roller coasters she loudly commented...... "What? that's worse than tattoos, don't you tell any of my friends, up to now they liked you"......................right between the eyes!

I thought the park might be quiet, and it got really quiet into the afternoon. Nice to bump into some members on the park, hope to see you again soon. Strange as it may seem, I did leave Stealth for a while in the afternoon. I could see that the queue for Nemesis Inferno was nil, and I could see the same for SWARM. I walked on to the former, then the same for Slammer, Colossus, Saw (though someone evacuated their stomach on the carriage in front of our returning one, so they then shut the ride), walk on for Vortex, Rush and then SWARM, then felt I had to have the remainder of the day on Stealth. With no queue for the last hour, everybody could re-r…

Good evening, I wonder if it would be at all possible to give my brand new music video Chasing shadows (The fairground song) a share which features loads of Thorpe Park rides! Would be extremely grateful as I've been told it has potential. Much appreciated, Larry. 😊https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5klRo21yFY

Just had a fantastic super evening at Thorpe Park. Select number of people meant little or no queuing, fun fun fun. Personally Thorpe park should have more days, events like this. I wouldn't mind paying extra. Probably the best 3 hours I have ever had in a theme park.

Hi guys. Thorpe Park has 7 different roller coasters which are arguably a big part of what makes the park what it is today, but surprisingly, we don't appear to have a topic ranking them and discussing our favourites, so I thought I'd make one! With that in mind, my simple question to you this evening is; how would you rank Thorpe Park's coasters? Which is your favourite? I'll get the ball rolling with my list (the bold bit after each comment is my rating out of 10 compared to the other coasters I've ridden, as well as the ride's ranking within my overall count): Nemesis Inferno - This never used to be top, but I've got to say that it's grown on me a f…

For a long time I have commented on how different people are, physically, emotionally, interests and hobbies. I knew that a sister of mine was not interested in rides, roller coasters or flat, and she often wondered about my mental state. However, I did not expect that having shown her a video of Stealth, she would have to dash to the bathroom for a digestive evacuation! at least I know she will never be in my way at a theme park.

To charge for staying in your car park, you must have terms and conditions displayed every so many yards, ie signs usually attached to lamp posts. There is none of this. There is no gate of barrier when you enter, which implies you're not trespassing by being there. Correct me if I'm wrong?

So, you've never ridden a coaster before, and you find yourself at Thorpe Park Resort in the heart of England. The thought of fast speeds, steep drops and loops scare you? Well, here's a list of all the coasters at Thorpe that are good to start off with. First up, we have the cult classic, The Flying Fish. It's a mini steel coaster that goes a whopping 16 mph. It is the calmest coaster at Thorpe but an og classic, getting around a 35-minute queue most weekends, occasionally going up to an hour. After you've conquered the mighty flying fish, you are ready to move onto bigger attractions. I am excluding walking dead the ride, because it is more of a…

Hi guys. Thorpe Park may have arguably one of the UK’s most well-known and well-liked selections of thrill coasters, but another aspect of the park that is commonly revered is its lineup of flat rides. Thorpe’s flat ride lineup is arguably one of the most expansive and varied in the UK, or dare I say the world, with quite a plethora of thrilling flat rides on offer. There have also been some intriguing past residents within Thorpe Park’s flat ride lineup. With this in mind, I’d be interested to know; which past or present Thorpe Park flat ride is your favourite? Personally, I’m not the biggest lover of flat rides overall, and I’ve only actually done 3 of Thorp…
