You will be pleased to know, that seasoned theme park composer, Nick Hutson has created all new audio for this years FRIGHT NIGHTS!

This includes new Admissions, Bridge, Lost City, The Jungle, Old Town and Amity (Yes... a brand new WWTP loop!) audio... as well as  new ride music and original music and audio for the new mazes.

    Bye IMAScore ??

Definitely like the idea of individual areas having their own music tracks for Fright Nights , a fright night WWTP is a nice throw back to 2006/7 too!

Think it would be a mistake not to use the parks “theme” which imascore are behind mind - it’s memorable and they should be aiming to use this across the events in different styles similar to how towers use theirs.

The MAP group aren't happy bunnies with regards to the Annual Pass Preview not being exclusive. I can see it being a recipe for disaster only allowing people with MAPs into the mazes with non MAP holders kicking off etc... Or is that just me?

Also please tell me it's not just me that's on the MAP group just to check out the sheer ridiculousness levels of entitlement on there.... But then the same could be said for #enthusiasts sometimes I suppose ?

I think they’ve been spot on this year with how they’ve run the late night events.

Didn’t hear AP holders complain when they allowed all guests to stay and ride rides till 10 during the MOS nights - this is the same but in reverse I guess!

Honestly I'm not going to FN this year unless it gets rave reviews.. The fact its 20 quid for MAP holders just makes me wanna spend a extra 5 quid or so and go down to Screamland or any other event..

There are some days which are £10 which I think was the starting price last year too?

From my knowledge of sound equipment I'm pretty sure it's problems with he speakers themselves (mainly being broken) as a faulty amplifier would cause all the speakers connected to it to sound quiet/wrong rather than just a few.

I noticed the problems a lot around Colossus, one speaker would be pumping out music while the rest didn't work, meaning you could only hear the soundtrack in about 20% of the area! Was very disappointing.

Colosuss has its big Bose 802’s fixed last year which still work (apart from the one near rush) which help add a lot - but for the last couple of years a few of the smaller Bose ones up across the area have stopped working leaving some dead patches. Hopefully one day it can be sorted!

They havent announced it but I have hard (and I aplogies if this has already been mentioned) that they have updated the pre dispatch show ready for FN and also added a few more actors in the ride.

I also wonder if the whole Fanta thing will be one of the bits hiding behind the leaves, I know they said this would only be for specific dates though so would't be the best idea.

I am with ItzAdam on that it will be more scare zones, stating that nowhere is safe is an over statement if the only two areas are the dome and near stealth.

They have been testing out a “Live” version of the pre show over summer, they had more actors in there too which worked pretty well, would like to see actors in the queue rather than just in the exit though.

Why is everyone on this forum so sour about fright nights this year.. they haven’t even announced the full lineup yet. And I couldn’t care what people reply with saying stuff like “well they got rid of the big top so it’s awful” or “fright nights isn’t good go to tulleys” GOOD FOR YOU!

I enjoy fright nights even if the maze aren’t great. It’s still a good laugh and I’m gonna go to the event quite a lot this year.

If someone could reply with something positive about the event this year then that would give me hope to stay on this forum page..

If the rumoured line up of Saw, Living Nightmare, Blair Witch, Santum and Platform 15 is true then why should anyone be excited? Admittedly Sanctum is a rumour but it's looking like the ratio of indoor mazes to outdoor mazes is about 50/50 so for what reason are you so optimistic?

    The key words ;)

I mean, record number of scare attractions sounds good on paper but they're probably counting things like Walking Dead The Ride etc...

That’s not a bad thing if the experience is differnt enough Tbf - I think was mentioned earlier they did similar with saw the ride comes alive - and that was no different to when they had actors in the queue line!

There's a banner in the bottom right to turn off the music and it reads "X ESCAPE THE DEAD". A reference to something about the walking dead ride perhaps?

Interesting - wonder if they could do something with The Walking Dead The Ride Over Fright Nights - I saw a few people mention a live version of the pre show was in operation over summer, the exit also had more actors than usual - perhaps a test for Fright Nights?

Well I definitely won’t be going to FN if Big Top isn’t returning. That leaves potentially only three exclusive Fright Nights attractions, Platform, Blair Witch & Sanctum (Or whatever replaces it).

Assuming nothing new is added to the event lineup of course..
