Isn't this Saturday Ministry Of Sound though? So the rides are usually open to guests of that between 6/7 and 10...

Unusually in the past coasters would be open for MOS guests only from 7 till 11 I think it was.

  2. Will be interesting to see what they do with Fright Nights this year to make sure it still has the appeal with the other bits happening over the year - it’s possibly why they opted to open Living Nightmare earlier on in the season, and having just Saw Alive open during Summer.

On the subject of the imascore Fright Night track, Walking Dead The Ride plays an edited version now rather than the track being used at the entrance / dome.

I didn't really notice the lighting changes in the entry corridors and zones, I don't know if it wasn't perhaps working exactly as intended? The theming is much better in the corridors now although X hardly had any theming at all apart from the lights and some signs.

When your walking down the corridors they are all marked area A to D I think, as you make way through you’ll hear announcements over the PA something like area b has been compromised, after that all the lights in “area b” switch off. It’s quite effective kostly if your at the back of the group looking behind you seeing the areas turn off behind you. That’s the changes being spoken about.

As with the extreme living nightmare, do you think it will be an upcharge attraction? Or will it be open to everyone and sit on a 180 minute queue the whole week?

Not seen anthong to suggest it will

be an upcharge but who knows.

It seems very strange to close off a ride to some guests, but keep it open for pass-holders.

As said - I guesss it’s a gesture of good will towards those who couldn’t ride it when it was closed for the last AP event, Hopefully they make it clear on the day so those non Ap people who want to ride can get on before it closes!

  5. Over the last few closed days Swarm has seen some work, The Rear of the console has now had its painting finished, this should hopefully be abit more durable to guests than the stick on police style colors. The beams in the station have been painted to make it look abit better, hopefully just temporary till they can replace the wood in there properly. The water effects are also now working and back on again.

Still a couple of little bits not working, the sound volume around the area is still pretty low and the bell tower sound effect still isnt working but hopefully this can be fixed soon!

I wonder if opening Walking Dead exclusively for pass holders is to make amends for the attraction not being available during the most recent pass holder evening? It's just a shame they won't appreciate it and will still find something to moan about...

Yeah I assume that’s what it’s for which is pretty good of them - fingers crossed it’s running well then!

  7. It’s easy to say they are terrible etc - but parks don’t make cuts like it for the fun of it, they know it’s not ideal, they know it will affect people’s days, but only they truly know what the state of finances are and what they need to do to help balance the books - that said it’s quite extreme closing rides rather than staggering the opening abit!

Can only assume they are massively struggling this year which is a shame - but smaller company’s can’t absorb costs as easy as say Merlin can if needed.

  8. They can’t offer an exchange / refund - they are non refundable :P - I didn’t think that particular tweet was that bad just abit tounge in cheek? I like the reply’s to it mind saying she can do what she wants with her tickets - will look abit silly if they end up being blocked by them!
