Shrek's Adventure London
Numbers have been low, or profit? I'm very surprised if it's numbers, considering how fast it's been selling out both over the phone and online. Then again, the website (and many other attraction websites tbh) has been experiencing numerous problems with not allowing people to book, JavaScript error messages, etc...

Feedback of the Forums

Rumba Rapids
So this epic boat jammin' sesh happened yesterday... (Not my own photo, tis from teh Facebook) Nothing serious of course and something that happens sometimes! Although I can't believe that purple boat that appears to be outside the main trough and going on its own merry journey

Rant
This annoys me so much! I mean, when stuff like this comes up on my FB news feed with a caption about curvy girls being better/big is beautiful, yadda yadda... ...NO. That is not being curvy (curves are defined, feminine and sexy). That is clearly obesity. Which is not only physically different, but bloody unhealthy! It's rather amusing that some women who are that obese consider themselves curvy - there's too much fat to even distinguish any curves! Call me bitchy, but it's true! And while I'm at it - I consider myself curvy because of my body shape; there are some well defined curves (albeit mainly on the lower half ), regardless of my size, they're still there! Sod what the media defines as "curvy" Besides, I'm not as thin now anyway; have put on a stone since the end of last year, and I'm actually so glad, because I needed to put on the weight tbh, and I think I look better, certainly feel better! I feel more like a woman But yeah, the message should be that it doesn't matter what size/shape women are, as long as they're healthy, happy etc (and that there's more to a great body than being a stick). Being overweight or obese is not healthy.

Doctor Oakwood Official Meet 2015
Won't be making this as I'm working that weekend, would be near impossible to get it off as holiday, plus I could use a month of being "sensible"/attempting to save money Shame as it would've been good to do another new UK park (and a new country )! Deffo up for some mini meets and such between now and Disney though

Get Me Out Of Ministry Of Sound Official Meet 18th July 2015

Storm Surge
Oh dear... Spooky, as I was there again yesterday with Marc and Liam, and in the queue for Storm Surge we mentioned (then found and watched) that video of the guy falling out at the end of the ride!

Alton Towers News
Just saw this on Facebook. Intriguing! Would be good, if a bit late, for Air to actually have some theming

Get Me Out Of Ministry Of Sound Official Meet 18th July 2015
I take it people are going back to the hotel to get changed/freshen up etc before MOS? And are we going straight to the Dome at 8 or back on park?

Pin Badges
So, this is my pin badge collection: As you can see, I have some limited editions there too: Vampire's 21st birthday, and the giant AT ones! I do love those - really nice quality, my favourites are the Towers logo and Neme21s ones (love how they've incorporated its 21st into the name and are selling a fair bit of merch for it!) I also have a Colossus one, but it's not in the usual pin badge style; it's just a bog standard badge, but the same size as a pin badge, and it's plasticky and meh Definitely intend to collect more!

Some TPM members were evacuated from Th13teen in the crypt at the meet, so that's one breakdown they've missed

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
It's a tricky area and probably one that doesn't have a simple answer, but would some of these lies told by the media count as defamation (slander)? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slander I know tabloids etc are infamous for exaggerating and the media can make wild claims, but a comment on Facebook made me wonder.

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Pointless media clickbait crap. The people who reported this to The Mirror clearly have no lives.

Phantasialand
Aaah, I wish I'd appreciated the theming etc more when I went (year 8 France/Germany school trip in 2003)! Back then I was more bothered about how fun and thrilling rides were I do remember how awesome Colorado Adventure was, Mystery Castle, oh and River Quest of course! Didn't do Winjas as we had no idea it was there Well, not until on the coach back when our other friends showed us their ORP and told us how great it was...we were like, "WHAAAAT?!" I can't believe it didn't even occur to me to read about the park online or anything (though this was back in the days of dial up and no smartphones)! And even though I knew a bit of German, we kept getting lost and the map wasn't much help We ended up on the wrong ride (Silbermine, which is gone now?) after queueing for what we thought was Colorado Adventure (which I seem to remember was also called the Michael Jackson Thrill Ride or something )!

Merlin VIP Annual Pass
It's not strange at all, it's just a bloody lanyard. The only people I know who wear them are geeks and children (especially with the whole pop badge craze). And most of them are probably wearing it because it's a bit of fun, not because they believe they are better, especially Premium pass holders!
