Tidal Wave
Suprised that no one has picked up on some Tidal Wave audio changes? However, not sure if things have been put back yet.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Just to throw my bit in here.. Many members on this forum are fairly young and under 25 (right?), so I understand some yet, havent got the ability to travel to other parks. This is SCREAMED at me everytime someone makes an excuse (for example) how shocking Storm Surge is, or Thorpe in general. If more people had been experiencing better parks, then this forum would die! I myself, find it odd if someone raves about something, yet have nothing to compare that too..In anycase, with Raptor open, we can see that Merlin can after all, pull out all the stops and so fingers crossed we'll see the same from LC12.When track starts arriving during September, the UK can once again, start getting excited. ;-))

Ride 11 - Vampire
Excellent. Although, I kinda grew up with it. From seeing it being built, to the excitment of a MASSIVE development in my local park. At it's time it was at the top of the list for me.THEN... came it's 're-theme'..

SAW: The Ride
I rarely go on SAW these days. With the exception of the first drop, it's just a headache.I would be so happy one year to have the indoor section 're-imagined' and first on my list, would be to darken the station. Far too much light in there. If Tomb can be darker, I won't accept H&S wouldn't allow SAW.

The Smiler
Don't you think that the Wardley name gets thrown up, a little too often? His almost a brand, which used to mean something.

Thorpe Park Website
Not a fan of the ugly Facebook box, but I guess, this is where it's going these days. Nice to see some videos of the rides, would be great for new comers planning on a trip to the park. Also, 'SAMURAI is closed at the mo, but don't worry it'll be back soon in all its awesomeness!'

Storm Surge
It's sad to hear the few water effects are already missing from the ride and worse, paint flaking off. Sadly, I fear, this is why Thorpe LOVE the old, tattered, damaged look as they never have to deal with it again, once it's installed. Any reports still, on the audio upkeep?

THE SWARM: Speculation & Theories
Well, tbh, I think the current theme is close enough to that already, and do we really want Thorpe to look any more tatty and worn down than it already is?

THE SWARM: Speculation & Theories
Google search Mirabilandia's Reset, and you'll find a New York scene, already close enough to LC12's theme.

Storm Surge
Some of these posts are awesome. 'It looks '****' LMAO, yes it does. The thing I'm finding more insulting is the tarmac thats been ditched in onto the floor, where you can still see the paths of what went before it. Seriously, it looks like Oxford Street. What a mess.

Detonator
No one got themselves a Detonator piccy yet??Looks like I will in the week! ;-)
-
Storm Surge
Great indeed. Marc pointed out the fact the water guns are inside the half way point of the queue, which means on a dead day, or next season when the entire park are sqeezed onto the LC12 island.. Who's gonna operate them? Looks like they activate alone, but unless you hop into the queue line, they're unavailable.. Aren't they?
-
Storm Surge
punctuation is your friend! ;-)How's the audio these days? Sounded awful last week, what I could hear of it at-least.
-
Thorpe Park Website
iPhone app update! Fingers crossed it actually works this season.I imagine we'll see an update with the website soon too.

Storm Surge
I think everyone else understands my point, with the front of X awkwardly hidden behind ugly supports. The queue line was what, waiting for paint (looks like under coat), and serous work still needing to be done. God knows why it was so behind, it's a waterside!Audio is a fail too, only heard from the station and OMGzz, the Amity sign is yet to reappear!!The lift hill, really is epic through the square scaffold in the sky, waiting for it's inevitable marketing op!Did I laugh and enjoy it, yes. Would I queue 30 mins for it, no. Fastrack on such a sllooooow loading ride? What are they thinking?!Company during the day=jokes.

Storm Surge
Nice pics y'all.Too bad they couldn't alter some supports to clear a pleasing way (if there could ever be to) X:No Way Out.

Worst Visitors At Thorpe Park?
I cycle stopped Rush many a time when I saw kids spitting. PA system through the queue line. Embarrassed enough, then asked to get off the ride.In an ideal world, I'd like to have spat in their faces, see if they'd like it done to them. Probably not! ;-)

Park Map 2011 And Storm Surge
I expect it will be uploaded at somepoint during the day. It is out.

Alton Towers News
I love it! No, actually I do! Ok, you wouldn't plan for the 40 min walk across the valley, looking at it--but it's a nice bit of art work all the same! Atleast they haven't got people shagging behind the rapids and other such nonsense.

London Dungeons
The Dungeon's contacted me and informed me that improvements have been made to the Jack the Ripper section of the tour and those, would make way for Vengeance.I have no idea how much space they have, but the ride system looks like a lot of fun.

SAW island or Wild Asia
I would think there are other ways to make something look old and tatty, without throwing thousands of broken bricks and rubble into the area. It amazes me, the park are then shocked when someone launches a brick from the top of Colossus. What do you expect from your target audience, when bricks and rubble are so handy? You could almost add marker pens on the back of all the toilet stalls doors too!
