Theme park flat ride in dire ride cycle shocker!

Most Disney films of that era have some form of un-PC thing, like the Crows from Dumbo, King Louie from Jungle Book and the Indians from Peter Pan... It's what was acceptable at the time, and whilst times have changed, it's a shame Disney buried Song of the South the way they have, because it would be an interesting film to watch and comment upon...

To me the biggest questionable lack of focus lies with Angry Birds land... Given that it's in the middle of the park and the big new thing, it's prominence is non-existant... Thorpe want to be more family friendly, yet don't push Angry Birds... It's a weird decision...

Chessie had the whole branding thing on the fences recently, and Towers obviously did them up for Smiler (I think Thirteen as well)... Thorpe catching up to them really...

I wouldn't really say that, I don't really remember there being many flats at the park... DarKastle and the water rides seem to get a reasonably fair representation if I recall... Then again, the flats there aren't particularly anything special, whilst Thorpe have always had the likes of Rush and Slammer (when working) at the forefront...

I had to look this up, imagine my surprise when greeted by the Intamin Gyro Tower and 2 S&S towers in completely separate locations... Those crazy Swedes...

So, it wins the award for "Strangest addition to a park as it already has similar rides" for 2016 already... As the artwork shows, the launched coaster will have drop towers on it... Clearly Hurakan Condor wasn't doing anything for them either... How weird...

With all this new brand marketing I feel like I should buy an Annual Pass... But can't quite gather why...

Depends, assume it's a 15 minute film, what if in the time it takes to wait loads of Fastrackers turn up? See it happen on Zufari as an example, what with the pre-show... I think the correct word would be, unnecessary...

Erm, ok... It's cleaner, but it seems if you're not a coaster, you're not important... Even the Angry Birds stuff which you would assume would be promoted extremely highly and made prominent on the map is relegated to minimalism... And of course, some rides don't exist apparently... And X is almost completely hidden, embarrassed almost to be on there... A weird one it must be said... It's both an improvement (no big-heads doing stupid stuff) and a downgrade (the previous map was relatively map-like, not that Thorpe needs a decent map, as you just point yourself in the direction of the next ride you want to ride)... 1 step forward, 2 steps back... As an aside, it confirms 2 awful things, both Angry Birds 4D and the Dodgems have Fastrack... Joyous...

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of difference in look compared to last year's map design, HOWEVER, they appear to have thought "Actually, we need to make this a usable map", so have spread everything out to their (relative) right location in comparison to other things... Although why does the ride list for Cloud Cuckoo Land take up an entire corner? And the hotels still annoy me being on it as well...

Implying that the temporary fencing wasn't ugly? Just kinda shows how poorly designed it was originally... Looks like the entrance with the extension will be a gate just off the 'main' entrance...

Sounds like the old "Be Discovered" thingy... Did a quick price check for a weekend in August, 2 nights, 2 people, 2 day park ticket, comes out to £268 total... Decent enough value, the Ryanair of theme park hotels...

Probs realised that it sounded too 'respectable' and 'serious' for such an awesome and cool park... Yo...

Probs advertising FN on the old giant wall of screens, they did that a LOT... And look kids, that's what Colossus looked like when it had been painted, you'll never be lucky enough to see it for real though, sorry...

I liked the part that effectively involves a victim being abused/spanked by something... That certainly wouldn't be deemed suitable these days...
