The Danish Top 3 Lack of Lynet though
-
Can't blame them with the culture over there, any form of touching would probably result in a lawsuit... Although not scary? Yeah right, plenty of jump scares in that, sometimes that's all you need... Though a lack of merman/unicorn is disappointing...
-
It is indeed on a slope... The only reason it stops is because Vekoma... For some reason so many of their rides do the constant stopping into the station, even Space Mountain does it...
-
Are enthusiasts the only ones who complain about it? Of course enthusiasts are the only ones to notice the knock-on effect poorly managed Fastrack can bring to the table, what a silly comment to make Marc...

A broken pixel at the BBC Salford Centre leads to amusing results...

According to some, nothing's going to happen coaster wise until 2015, mainly due to the park focusing on paying back on the hotel... Since that's done we should see the park begin to invest back in... So more Thomas Land!

I think the morning is the most active time only counts for Florida because HEAT... Hotel people I think do get a chance to ride Zufari out of park hours as well already... Can't remember tbh... They need a better ending mind... The Waterfall escape can stay but just have an evil voice or something in the cave... It makes zero sense... They can't expand it much further than they did though, goes up to the park boundary already... No hope of extension there...

This is hilarious, and equally, a big part of the problem across the parks... If something goes wrong, you usually get given Fastrack as a result... This doesn't help the situation any better, especially when you've literally just complained about Fastrack... There have to be better solutions to complaints than Fastrack...

What would actually have to be closed to access RMT? The Children's Zoo? Rattlesnake? Jumbos? Considering it's right on the access road you'd think it wouldn't be too difficult to access... Merlin hotels have some of the best themed accommodation? Not really, they're really kind of plain, especially the Holiday Inn, unless they're aiming to build a mass of themed rooms akin to Towers' Space Voyage stuff... Even so, I would personally prefer them focus on building up the park itself and give it an appropriate infrastructure worthy of an extended hotel... The Zoo is the main reason the park exists after alll...

Mack did a presentation recently at an enthusiast convention at the park, not saying it will be this, but it's possible to be a water coaster prototype... It'd be really crap if they said that a Splash Battle would be an unimaginable experience...

Chiapas is an Intamin therefore is discounted from being used in ride construction delay arguements for obvious reasons

I think if anyone rode this we'd have a winner...

Bet Lorikeet Lagoon/Monkey Walkthrough were both closed for lunch as well as they are every day... The Zoo portion is actually more for renovating two enclosures which isn't exactly something to ruin the day... Dunno what they're doing to RMT though, it's hard to judge since they've hidden it from view, but they've certainly repainted the track at some point... I get the feeling they're waiting till end of season for the real work to begin to be able to access the site with large vehicles more readily... Same no doubt for Falls... Clearly it's not all bad, when I went into the Lorikeets I was about to purchase some nectar and told by the staff member it was pointless to do so and save my money... Surely the sign of a person who is focused on not short-changing the guests... Difference to Legoland is that it didn't have years of Tussauds neglect to contend with, although they could do with renewing the entirity of Miniland to make it all work and look decent again... All the other complaints are across the board with Merlin really... All the parks have mention of letting too many people in and being too expensive and over-selling Fastrack, but in order to actually provide the parks a reason to reduce it, people need to stop the spending on these things to do so... As any business would do, find that max limit people will spend and then stay there... Though of course, only Chessie sell Fastrack for things like Seastorm and Tiny Truckers, so they need a slap around the face for that... I still think the hotel extension is pointless though when they could just return to that refurb plan from 2011 for that area... I want the giant aviary dammit!

You mean like DLP offering kids go free and increasing the adult prices? Dunno how these people are getting charged more though... That sounds rather dodgy...
-
It's a weird one really and would be dependant on the situation... As these single supports have to work harder to hold the ride up due to the minimalistic approach... Think it's just the way they went about it... If it was more solid, it would probably have more fatigue in the Fury case... A rather weird case is Fury...

Doesn't need to be raining for Peeking to be miserable and uncomfortable

Clearly isn't a demand for it at Europa, rather the demand is that the rides eat throughputs like me in a chocolate factory...
-
Nah, you're right, easiest comparisons are buildings that are built in earthquake zones and designed to shake because otherwise they'll just collapse... If the track has no ability to move at all, then it's more likely to have faults within it... You can see it on Nemesis after the Zero-G that it happens quite severely, but for the most part the track motion is un-noticeable... I always found it quite entertaining how it would make people so worried about riding it...
-
So Gerstlauer have this to say about the 'Infinity Coaster' (or Smiler/Karacho)... Sigh... Stupid Merlin...
-
Surely Europa has the best method of Fastrack and all parks should be emulating that?
-
This hotline thing makes me wonder, how successful was the old anti-social behaviour one? Will people use it? Dunno, depends how much OUTRAGE people have if the queue isn't precisely accurate...
-
Must have been a fluke as they weren't doing that first thing in the morning...
-
Well, considering every park in the entire world over-exaggerates queue times in order to give the illusion that the park's queues aren't burdenously long it's not something that's a major issue... It's retail who are the problem... Not the ride staff... Especially as more often than not, oversold Fastrack leads to rage between the two departments...
-
Those in retail don't have any control over the displayed queue time... If they actually do, then something's wrong with the system...
