It's Flamingoland, so nope...

If there's a Rastamouse themed ride it would be the best thing ever to exist in the theme park industry <3

Usually telling people off about smoking in queues goes like this: > Staff asks Guest to stop smoking... > Guest kicks off about it... > Staff member reiterates rules... > Guest doesn't care and continues anyway/Stops smoking but then starts up again... If the staff member has been there all year (or longer), I wouldn't be surprised if they just knew it wouldn't be worth the effort of the arguement... Such is the way of the world now...

Ride staff have no actual power to remove guests from queues, indeed, they have to rely on either Team Leaders or Security to back them up in cases where things may begin to get out of hand (who are sometimes useless, an example from my Chessie days where we radioed in people due to a heated arguement building at Chips Ahoy ended up with us normal staff being closer than any TL/Security for some reason)... For a ride staff member who may be by themselves on an attraction and not able to contact anyone else for assistance trying to stand up to a group of people who will intimidate in order to get their own way is more often than not more trouble than it's worth... Happens throughout the year on various rides at various parks, usually surrounding queue jumping because people don't do take kindly to being seen in the wrong even when they are (indeed, I had an incident on Smiler earlier this year involving a mum having rage at us for not letting her kids past because they had 'been to the toilet', although I doubt for 40 minutes)... So for the average ride staff member with minimal power, it is a very difficult situation to handle when they cannot physically do anything to stop people being awful and intimidating... Security vary, though usually on FN Thorpe get in extra to deal with the situation... Problem is the society we live in breeding contempt and dis-respect more than anything...

What IS Blair Witch meant to be though? For an event that claims that you don't have to go to Florida/America to be at a premier Horror Nights, it is an appauling excuse for a Scarezone...

Now THAT is a lighting package... Next summer can't come soon enough... I'm not sure if this or Helix excites me more...

The standout OUTRAGE this year was still Chessie's BunnyGate... <3
-
Just take your swimming gear if today is any indicator... This weekend kinda sums up Towers' season, first weekend of their major event, powercut followed by mental rain and flooding... And a fair amount of OUTRAGE as a result... Again...

Retardation is the technical term for an object losing speed or 'deceleration'...

The entirity of Monkey/Bird Garden is now inaccesible, making Wanyama a dead end again... Zoo Days looking really pointless this year...
-
It could easily fill up the trains... Fortunately they were loading the entire thing upon my return to the station... There's 7 actors in HPH...

This is what happens when you give Northerners things too advanced for them to comprehend...

Soooooo this started today... The park, lacked surprisingly on the theming front, aside from a far amount of pumpkins, it was nowhere near the standard of previous years... A disappointing start really... It was pretty quiet today, although why Vampire now thinks that loading 6 rows first thing on a Saturday because it's (and I quote) "Too quiet to load the entire train" is beyond me... Every time I go that ride gets worse... One positive for the park is of course, their two mazes... We were the first load into Haunting in the Hollows, and I don't think any of us had done it before... It was quite good, and far superior to Blair Witch Project in the finale section... It fits Chessie's audience right down to the tee actually, with the mix of hammer horror (the BOOBS on the girl working on it), obvious scares and a potentially scarring experience in the end portion for the younger ones... I was impressed... Hocus Pocus Hall was next, and we were heavily anticipating this one with all the positivity surrounding it... And the change is amazingly drastic to the look of the various rooms and what-not... There were some flaws however, as the spaces available were too small for the group, potential rejigs should be considered for that... The new theming was pretty good though with the brand new pre-show of actually decent effects... I would like to think that positive feedback on the attraction will make Chessie try and make it into a permanent style attraction in a similar fashion to HPH, just, better and with more effects around the place... Overall, the two mazes were good, the park itself was disappointing... Can't rate the lighting since we left early and the park wouldn't have had them on anyways... Ah wells... Towers next week, then some European attempts to finish off my Halloween trips...

Nah, course Saw hasn't had the same level of issue, but I'm referring to the infamous sinking support at the base of the main drop which is still a killer... The work on Smiler is because the entire SITE is like that... Because they clearly hired idiots...
-
I don't think many rides have a really badly done ground survey though... Really, Saw should've flagged stuff with weak ground shifting and causing the ride some problems... But for some reason, it didn't...

I would guess around 12/1 odd as it has been the last few years...

I thought it was only due to be closed Mon/Tues?

Looks fab at night... From TowersStreet

It's the same story though :/

See also, Peppa Pig World for an immersive IP experience...

Not when it's available for free And not allowed to mention the experience? That's not exactly a great form of advertising is it? Bit daft from Thorpe not to really use the word of mouth detail beyond people saying "it's good", considering how some are stating BWP is 'good'...
-
I just hope they learnt from Rainbow Magicland's mistakes and build the theming very cheaply... Or suffer from budget cuts...

Shaun the Sheep is the first one that pops into my head... I have a feeling the rights to what they can use will be set by Auntie Beeb, plus I'm sure a lot of their 'proper' live action shows will be the choice of theme for the shows/activities...
