The extensive work could also relate to the amount of strain Slammer's had the last two seasons. Considering it's also an S&S ride, they'd have to make sure Rush is also in working order.

Thorpe Park Chessington (really want to go this year as I didn't last year) Legoland (will only go this year for the meet though) Alton Towers Will be heading out to Florida in late July for a couple of weeks! Attractions are unknown at the mo but I'll be close to Disney and also most of my family want to go back to Universal. And finally, my resolution for this year is to try and make as many meets as possible! (bar Towers as I'm pretty sure it's impossible for me to get there on my own accord)

Well JoshC actually made a good point regarding the figure supposedly with a pocket watch, as a pocket watch is featured in the Mind Gap teasers! I can only imagine what sort of characters we could be about to stumble across on this!

Apparently it used to move but it can no longer move as it would be bad for the foundations of the building. I heard you could feel it's movement from everywhere in the attraction!

Haunted House...but Duel gets bonus points for having reliable effects. Fallout or Elder Scrolls (Oblivion, Skyrim etc.)?

You mean like they'd be static at first but then move when a train is ascending the lift hill and go static again once the train has cleared the loop? That would be great as it would look as if the blades are part of the lift mechanism, therefore adding to the effect of the ride being a mechanical device.
