Noticed in the tunnel yesterday that they have covered up some pipework. It also felt a lot more lighter in there than usual. Hope they make some other improvements to the tunnel and other parts of the ride as it is massively lacking themeing and effects... This is what the tunnel used to look like... And it now looks like...

I agree, especially the fact that they have spent so much money on it over the last couple of years. I assume it wasn't taken off their website as they thought they would have the ride open again at the begging of the season. They still should of had a banner or something saying that it was unavailable for the meantime.

The 2 times I went to Thorpe park last year during rain it closed, one of the times I was in the station. They said we could wait for the rain to stop or just go.

Well on AP day it was playing loud in the morning, but it kept cutting out every like 2 seconds. Then when I went in the afternoon it was turned off.

Well Slammer seemed to have no work and no testing going on all day today The dummies still remain in the seats.

Well I know from being at Chessington that all rides, except Tomb Blaster and Bubbleworks close during a storm. So I think all rides at Thorpe Park would close if there was a storm, except X? From my experience with Stealth last year, the operator opened the door and felt the rain then closed the ride so I think it always shuts during heavy rain.

Detonators audio was playing today, but was playing extremely quiet. You couldn't really hear it if it was busy if people were talking and couldn't really hear up past halfway up the ride. Hope this gets sorted soon.

They tend to close Stealth in the rain, probably because it does hurt.

I've never been dripped by Oil, but it's going to rain tomorrow when I'm going so I'll see if I get dripped on tomorrow.

All rides are normally open during rain and then Stealth shuts during heavier rain. I believe all rides expect indoor rides normally close during Storms and Thunder and Lightning.

I think they only do IF the rides have been affected for more than an hour now, not just if it rains for an hour. Someone posted on their facebook page asking if it was a rainy day because it rained for more than an hour, and they replied saying no as the rides were only affected for 20 minutes.

Same here! I'd love a rollback! But I don't think so anymore, because it's not like 'meant to happen' anymore, the ride would be closed for the rest of the day.

The problem seems to be a bit on and off. Maybe they are waiting till the ride is closed for a week for it's 'retheme' to maybe replace the speakers, or just fix the audio somehow.

Good to hear it's back it's back open. Do you know if they've fixed the problem with swing B not reaching as high as well?

They were having problems with the speakers on annual pass day and then they just turned the audio off in the afternoon. Annoying they still haven't sorted the problem, Detonators theme is one of my favorites.

Oh yeah you can actually! Then it's probaly only Swing A having the restraint problems.

Rush is having work done, but looks like there has been problems with the restraints on swing A. I'm not too sure if the same is being done to swing B as you can't tell from the picture but seeing as the picture is on the one swing, it's probably only this one.
