  1. Look's like the next trial dates will be with some flats now, and all of the coasters. Noticed they've taken the Swarm backwards and Stealth pole position away, not sure how it worked out? Will be interesting to see how some of the lower throughput rides will work out, and the flats, and just the fact that the majority of the rides on park are using it. Will probably will regret saying this , but I hope they do it next Wednesday, never had a chance to experience Reserve N' RIde.

Are they batching people through to the airgates while the ride is in operation? I know that last year they didn't really do it, but that was probably because it was dead.

Last year pretty much every visit I saw it break down at least once, but this year it's been pretty good. Also the Smiler has also been good this year by the sounds of it, it hasn't had a full day closed this year yet and during the whole weekend I was there I did not see it go down once, and I was checking ridetimes on my phone a lot. I'm sorry, but I would not call the Smiler smooth, especially for a coaster than is just over 1 year old.

I doubt it would be down because was rough, if there was something wrong with a car they'd take it off and carry on normal operation.
  6. I agree. They could of at least made it look like Storm Surge. Would of looked great with the track yellow, blue and red and the supports just left grey. Oh and obviously take away the marmaliser and don't play the theme music.
  7. Noticed this on both days that I went this year, the queue was about half an hour. Most people were in 2's, the queue would of been so much quicker if they were filling them up. At Thorpe we got put with people at about a 5-10 minute queue, which I think is a good thing. Same with the Flume, but by the time it was our turn we had to go with people, after it breaking down a few times making the queue massive.

Let's hope so anyway I think it a shame though that CCR never returned as a ghost train as planned, think that would of been really good. I'm glad that they spent that money on Slammer though
  9. I think Samurai has been running quite well this year to be honest, it's been running a lot quicker and it's much more intense (obviously not as much as other topscans ) . Don't know how long this will last though Like EC said, I wouldn't really like to see another fun fair ride at Thorpe, and I really couldn't see a Tivoli Extreme fitting in at Thorpe, although it does look like a great ride. Would love to see another flat replace it in the future though, instead of using the space for something else.

That's good, it's been a while. Has it got the queue line audio yet?

You can now book it online - https://www.thorpepark.com/events-experiences/events/flow-rider/ I guess if there are spaces on the days as well you just go there and book it, then go back later.

Well as the Asylum is going, I'd expect another place to take it's place but I don't think this is the case this year. A sign has been put up and if you look at the bottom, you can only see the 4 mazes. My bloody valentine, The Blair witch project, Cabin in the woods and Saw. (Photo from - http://instagram.com/p/qCpg5GF1Gc/?modal=true) Maybe we will see another maze, and they are not revealing it yet but as this sign has been put up it's making it seem very unlikely.

Everyone knew it was going to happen ... THE PRICES HAVE DROPPED Haven't been to the park while it's been open so I'm unsure on how popular it has been, but on their website it now states 15 quid per person or 12.50 per person for a group of 4 people. To be honest I thought the original price was good, so I think 15 pounds for an hour is actually really good. I may try it out next time I go depending if the person with me wants a go. According to the queue time app both Tidal Wave and Storm Surge are open right now. Tidal wave with a 90 minute queue and Storm Surge with a 10. It would make sense if they did extend the opening of Tidal Wave seeing as it has been down all day (again), so maybe they kept it open for extra time so people would be able to experience it, along with Storm Surge. Good if they did do it, if not then it must be a fault with the app? There's no messages on Facebook about it.

  19. X

I did prefer X's old music to be honest. With this years, you can get good music but you can also get bad music when you're on the ride. The lighting is so much better this year though which is good.

Yup I just tried to get mine and they are sold out already Oh well it's only a fiver I guess haha
  21. Doubt you will be getting any re rides on weekdays at the moment. Year 11's have left and there are a lot of people going for school trips at the moment.
  22. Went past a fair in my town today which is currently being put up, it opens on the 3rd. I've always had really bad fairs to be honest, and never had this fair before, we had the other fair about 2-3 weeks ago. Unsure of the lineup at the moment but they have an X-Flight which I've always wanted to ride. Hopefully I will get down there at some point Link - http://www.johndavisfunfairs.co.uk/index.html

I personally didn't like it, it's like to open if that makes sense. Always been my worst maze. Most people enjoyed it and it was a lot of people favorites, still don't understand why.

I agree with you, I thought the 'You're next' actors were dreadful compared to the roaming actors in previous years! The only time I noticed the roaming actors were good was when Cabin in the woods was down so all the actors from there were all in Amity Cove. It would be nice to see some themeing around the park, although it wasn't 'scary' I thought the lights on Stealth and the trucks in Amity Cover with flashing lights and smoke in were quite cool. I thought that the audio on all of the rides were quite good, I liked how it was the same sort of theme on all of them, the director speaking. It would be nice to have some better queueline audio and other audio while the director isn't speaking though to create a better atmosphere. It still states on there website that they recommend that people must be over the age of 13 to go in the mazes so I don't think it will affect the mazes at all. The Blair which project was a lot tamer than the others so that could be used for family's I guess? With the whole push on the family market, I couldn't imagine there being really scary roaming actors this year, I can only see them doing similar to last year which is a shame.

Fair enough, never noticed that one before!
