Chessington General Discussion
Mate. I got told that "Imperial Leather stuff has been removed on bubbles" when I mentioned that it's completely gone on the flume. When I meant completely gone with flume, I literally meant it. There's only one thing the entire ride, and thats a piece of paper on the vending machine telling you where to get a refund if it breaks on you.Bubbleworks? It's exactly the same. Logos are literally everywhere. I know which one out of us two to trust now...

Cariba Creek
Waterpark is open til 9pm over august - it's worth going in the evening as it's quiet. Middle of the day is full generally.

Feedback of the Forums
Just a quicky - could we update the LC12 subthread thing to be called "LC12/The Swarm" or something - just so people know exactly what we're on about by referring to both names.Helps the general public and new members as well, is all

Chessington General Discussion
Just a quicky:Chessington is currently trying to do it's own scaled back version of Towers' marketing now.Scaled back, as in.. it's purely a poll on facebook.. with the wonderful catchy name of "Are you a brave adventurer? If you are what is your favourite Chessington ride?" .Thought you'd like to know .

The Zoo

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
I love how every bloody time sommet appears at the beginning, numpties think it's the rides name.Remember all the "Ride the demon of the dark forest" things for thirteen?

Text Number?
Which'd in turn make them think "oh a lot of people have the same opinion about this" and therefore start to take it into consideration slightly.

Worst Visitors At Thorpe Park?
This. It's not racism, I think its just their culture really. Neither do they listen to instructions, and it's only usually the dads who will listen to authority, noone else will.

Is Alton Still Going To Be No.1 In 5 Years Time?
But landscaping does affect everyone and does affect repeat custom .

Is Alton Still Going To Be No.1 In 5 Years Time?
That's one big compromise

Park Music
Well yeah, but they're trying to catch up to the mouse in other ways than just visitor numbers... Long shot, but at least they seemingly want to try
-
Park Music
Well, I think they deserve to be compared even more now, particularly with their new "Merlin Magic Making" section with their own versions of imagineers coming into play - and the words coming out of their mouth literally being "playing catch up with the mouse"
-
Vortex
Ahh damnit, I was hoping they just wanted to ride the ride all to themselves.

THE SWARM: Construction Updates
Flipping heck, this shows me how little I visit thorpe and pay attention to that side of the park nowadays. The lake is a random river streamy area! Between fish and the land, aww

Queue Jumpers!
Ahh gotta love queue jumpers. Nothing better than seeing one jump right infront of your face, and telling them to leave the queue and walk the entire way around. It's great fun.My favourite place at the moment is the Blade/Ripsaw queues. They always jump over thinking its one or the other, and getting stupidly confused. All the time, taking longer than it would just to enter via the proper ride entrances

Sharkbait Reef - AT Sealife
Completely agree. Preferred the rays. But apparently it was a sealife decision to add them (part of the "new attraction at every merlin place" thing they've got going on) rather than a towers decision, as shown by pretty much every sealife in the world getting them/more of them this year.

Television
It's taken me a while to notice this, but WIN. It's absolutely amazing. Infact, I've got the first two series' on DVD thanks to a wonderful girly

Sharkbait Reef - AT Sealife
Nope. There's a total of 4 in the tank now

Alton Towers General Discussion
Queues are under an hour usually.Unfortunately, you've missed the best week of the summer holidays. First week is dead - for example, most queues have been under half hour all day (even 10mins for main coasters at 1pm). It'll become busier from next week, but still very worth going to.

Jobs At Chessington
Young workers (under 18) work a MAXIMUM 8hrs a day, or else the company is breaching Time working regulations.Chessie is now strict about this, just as they should be. It's good for the under 18s, its good for everyone..(this excludes your lunch break - hence chessie does 9am-6pm)

Alton Towers General Discussion
Pretty much every corrie break there's a towers ad. Don't worry, they're there

Is Alton Still Going To Be No.1 In 5 Years Time?
I have to say, it sounds very much like a "visited towers too often, first time to thorpe" experience there.Majority of the time, the entrance of thorpe takes ages to get into. And it's not like towers.. it's cattlepens. Temporary cattlepens. Temporary which have been there for YEARS. Mmm, lovely entrance .I dunno, visit thorpe enough times and you'd find it boring as well. Everyone I go to thorpe with who live up north love the place, but its the opposite way around if you're down south.I do agree with one point though, towers rides (well, the flats) ARE boring. Thorpe is superior on that front, but thats about it. Food, all you have from thorpe (which is a merlin place) is the mexican, noodles and glasshouse.. all of which is an offering at towers.
