Matt 236
Well if the new ride turns out to be anything like that picture, we may find ourselves rather disappointed. Kerfuffle

yeah
I do believe they are selling them, and from my memory outside Lodge Gate it says they are £12 down the side of a feedback monitor.

MarkC
So plans have now been submitted for a new high ropes course in the south car park! Is this the only addition we will be seeing in 2016?
HermanTheGerman
I think what's far more interesting is the size of the land that they bought with it...

Matt 236
I'm interested to where this large swath of land the HRC will be going on is located. Anyone able to doodle a google maps sketch?
JoshuaA
Interesting, but I'd much rather see them invest in the park. As much as I agree, merlin are probably are just intrested in pumping money in to the overpriced hotel. And spending the rest on retheming rides that didn't need to be rethemed, and not retheming the rides that do need a spruce up. The ropes course isn't too bad I guess, but the park is crumbling to pieces.
HermanTheGerman
In their trading update the other day, Merlin announced that the park will receive a major investment in 2017, so it isn't being entirely forgotten.

JoshC.
As eB said, this investment is alongside the 2016 attraction that is going into the park.  So they are investing in both the resort side of things and the park side of things, it would seem.  I've nothing against the High Rope Courses, they're fun things to do and I'm sure no one staying at the hotel would be against even more choice whilst staying there. pognoi

Project LC
Well they are there to make money. If they think people will pay for it then they are going to charge.

TraX
Let's just remember that Zufari was a major addition, that suffered budget cuts, and we all know how that panned out. If the same people are working on a major new attraction, then I certainly don't hold up any hope. If there's one thing Chessington have shown us time and time again, is that they haven't got a clue. They should remind themselves how the park once looked, and strive to achieve that. High ropes course and some ride spruce ups. Yay. Oh I forgot about next years new attraction.. I can't wait to see that..
