Theme Park bloke
Bloody Vamp has been unreliable lately. When I was gonna go on it on Saturday it was closed (around 5:00pm) and I noticed one train stuck on lift hill 2.

Rich
Something to do with one of the lift hill motors from what I've heard. On another note Billys Whizzer is down.

Theme Park bloke
Yes, it rides like a bat out of hell. Also, anyone remember the colourful W E L C O M E sign that used to be at the entrance? Well it's not there anymore, which is a shame, because it looked good. But if you look to your left as you go up the lift hill of Dragon Falls main drop, you will see it in hiding with some other old removed signs you may recognise from the past.Honestly, sometimes, Chessington do a crap job of hiding their signs. You'd think they'd either keep them stored all in one place, display them, send them back to the signmakers or bin 'em!
Fred
It's not there anymore? I presume you mean the 1/4 welcome signs at the car park entrances which was replaced with the holiday inn shiney one?Chessie is quality with keeping its old signs, its nostalgic and they should keep them wherever they please! Like the re-used samurai signs by sealife, or the vampire fastrack allocation sign living in a cleaning cupboard. Tis great
dragon2000
Dragging this topic back up! Dragon's Fury has been shut all this week (and is likely to be for another few days rumours seem). Dragon Falls has also been shut for a few days now. Don't start being like Thorpe BigBobJones
Coaster
Not very good. I'm going to Chessington today so I will write on here later telling you whether either ride re-opened today.
Tom
Fury always seems to be down right after the summer season!
Mattgwise
I have been on three visits this year and on all three visits, Dragon's Fury opened in the morning and was closed by 2pm every time due to some form of technical fault. Dragon Falls was also closed almost all day on one of my visits, just opened around an hour before park close.
Coaster
Just a quick update: - Dragon falls was open all day today. (x3) - Dragon's fury opened in the afternoon (x1)
dragon2000
Thanks for the update Jamie. Good to have Fury back alongside Vampire. How were queues today?
Coaster
Thanks for the update Jamie. Good to have Fury back alongside Vampire. How were queues today? They weren't too bad actually - although Dragon's fury obviously had a fairly big queue given that it had been closed for a few days and in the morning. Apart from Fury, the most we queued for any ride was 30 mins - although some were almost walk on.
EmilyLovesVortex
this thread needs a revival, and needs to be pinned at the top because it's important information for guests visiting chessington so I'm bringing it to the top plus I just read some of the thread.. especially the comments on fury and the bus- find it amusing
