July 25, 201114 yr comment_120109 Far better than reading the books you used to get back in the dayI love the books and still have ALL of them (literally, including the Science, Maths, Geography, etc off-shoots)...The series however, is pretty epic too... But the mediums are very different and both are very good ideas to let kids do... Though I will personally by throwing books at my kids from the moment they're born...

July 28, 201114 yr comment_120228 Far better than reading the books you used to get back in the dayI didn't even know it was based on a book series! They weren't around when I was a kid, all my school books seemed to have been written a hundred years before by a man who wanted to put me in a coma. I've missed out there. Things seem to have moved on, these look great!

August 30, 201114 yr comment_122350 Angry Boys looked like some of the worst pieces of programming BBC 3 has ever seen...Which is certainly saying something...
August 30, 201114 yr comment_122351 Angry Boys looked like some of the worst pieces of programming BBC 3 has ever seen...Which is certainly saying something...It's amazing. Chris Lilley's other series Summer Height's High is so much better though.

August 31, 201114 yr comment_122378 Yes...I do actually make comments based on experience you know... I HATE cringe/fart comedy, so it was never going to work on me...Wilfred on the other hand, has been quite amusing with some of the funniest one-liners ever...
September 1, 201114 yr comment_122482 Yes...I do actually make comments based on experience you know... I HATE cringe/fart comedy, so it was never going to work on me...They way you phrased just sounded like you had watched an advert. I don't remember any fart comedy apart from one really short but horrible moment.
September 2, 201114 yr comment_122495 Yeah, I don't think there's any fart comedy? It's amazing though.
October 17, 201113 yr comment_125115 BUMP...Go watch Community people, it's brilliant off-the-wall stuff, with plenty of spoofs and silliness going on every episode... Not the best episode example, but, it's worth it for season 2's Halloween episode and double bill finale, and the paintball episode in season 1... Plus Alison Brie
October 17, 201113 yr comment_125117 Coincidence! I just finished season 1. The second half is amazing. Best comedy airing at the moment.
October 17, 201113 yr comment_125121 Season 2 is even better... Made me laugh out loud a LOT more than season 1... Shame in a way the premise only sets it up for 4 (5 at a stretch) seasons...But then again, stops it from becoming stale...
