Tom
UHRG! I hate the doughnuts at Thorpe, sorry but we waited 30 mins to get them... and then, everyone felt sick and didn't want to do anything else that day... waste of time, money and fun! Dan9
They are so good, but stupidly filling. I would only feel sick if I had them all at once.
TimR
I hate the thorpe park donuts I prefer Krispy Kreme anyway I always eat at Pizza Hut and the prices are about £7.50 for adult (12 & Over) nd £3.99 (Under 12)
StevenVig
I really want to be sitting in KFC in Amity eating a 2 Piece Meal watching Tidal Wave.Hey is it just me, or does anyone else love sitting in the Amity KFC on a cold and wet day eating a meal? I love it
Gino.
On the Thorpe Park website crust isn't on the list of food outlets!
StevenVig
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Crust has ever been listed on Thorpe's site for some reason.
Theme Park bloke
Probably because it serves the worst food in the park. Honestly, the baguettes are rock hard and the filling has no flavour. Plus they don't butter them!

It just always seemed less "donut + hotdog", so I assumed it wasn't. Is it run by Thorpe?
James
All the outlets you don't see on a High Street are run by Merlin, plus they will have staff in them with Merlin uniform.
StevenVig
Ive never actually been to Crust. Amity KFC & BK ftw!

Is it run by Thorpe?Yes.KFC and Pizza Hut are gone for '09 at Alton Towers and Chessington. But they still remain at Thorpe? Then again, it's pretty hard to rip KFC out of Amity Cove and re-theme a restaurant to a "disasterous state" (so to speak) in the space currently occupied by KFC. StevenVig
Not really, because the actual theming is nothing to do with KFC, except the logo outside the shop. If Thorpe replaced it with something else, it will just fit in nicely. (Hopefully)
Theme Park bloke
I agree with what you're saying, but if they did "kick out" KFC, they'd have to an entire refurb inside for a wrecked theme IMO. Otherwise people would realise that all they've done is take down KFC branding and replace it with theirs.
James
Otherwise people would realise that all they've done is take down KFC branding and replace it with theirs. That however is exactly what happened with the Katanga Canyon Pizza Hut so I'm not holding out hope for any interior changes to the building. Rich
I am not being funny, but if the inside of the building was to change, everyone would complain anyway saying "it doesn't fit in" etc; however some of you would complain if it didn't change. You just can't please people! :)It's financially cheaper to not change the inside and as it is already themed, I am hoping it is to stay the same. James
Just to add to my previous post, the only changes I want to the interior is improvements like a new lick of paint just to refresh it etc, not a total retheme.
StevenVig
they'd have to an entire refurb inside for a wrecked theme IMO.No! The interior theming is already a wrecked theme, and that wrecked theme isn't branded to KFC. So if KFC was removed, they wouldn't have to retheme because its not branded to KFC! Rich
A good example of this would be Mc Donalds and Burger King at Chessington? The interior didn't change much at all. From what I can remember the seating changed and that was one of the only noticeable differences.
StevenVig
Your completely right there Rich. I remember it from 2008, everything was pretty much exactly the same. I didnt notice the seating though. The only thing I did notice, was that the express till was removed, but I expect thats a McDonald's thing. Fred
Well the huge burger king sign in the middle is different! I swear it was quite different, though I only went into mcdonalds once (during a break from my induction in 2006!).
