Beth N
Both Loggers and Falls are themed excellently, but Falls is much better I feel.Loggers Leap barely has any theming. Most of those bears were installed for the sake of CCR.Falls wins hands down for theming
Cjw
Ever since the rocks were removed I've lost most of my interest in falls. Neither of the drops are that good either.I find loggers more unpredictable in regards to leaking boats and waves coming over the top of the boat at the end of the second drop. Theme Park bloke
Most of those bears were installed for the sake of CCR.Yes, but they'll be going back home this year.My only bug bear with Fall's is what the hell happens when you go over the top of Tomb Blaster? That part has so little to look at (essentially a giant warehouse) and you go round it so slowly. I sometimes just wanna get out and push. You could look to the left as you go up the lift hill - the amount of crap on display (that is meant to be hidden) is enormous. I sometimes just wanna get out and push.Well we could always take the roof off Tomb, then you'd have something to look at :oYeah top trough is a bit slow but there's nothing we can do about that unfortunately. You could get out and push but that would cause the ride to be E-Stopped so I don't suggest that for our sake mainly
Fred
Alternatively, they could give something to look at up there, like.. to do with the ride you're on, rather than looking into toytown or a metal roof.
Theme Park bloke
The only exciting* thing is that sign saying "You're about to go over the edge" or whatever it says. They should get some Bose speakers up there and play that relaxing Mystic East tune.*sarcasm factor 100%
themeparkmad
What would you want up there anyway? You are only up there for a bit!If you dont like waiting, do what I do, push along on the side until you get an announcement saying "please keep hand inside the boat please" ! Tom
So you want to aggravate staff like the famous Jadams and Beth (or is the awesome beth not an op)
James
No Beth is only a platformer for Dragon Falls, James however is likely to hurl loads of abuse at you

Phyciodes
Ahh the top bit is above tomb blaster. Learn something new everyday.
treeis
if you lean over eneough, you can see the roof. and when I mean "lean over" I dont mean in a dangerous kind of way...
James
Well if you walk past on a quiet day when Falls is closed you can hear the Tomb Blaster music from inside through the walls.
Sheepie
Guys just be careful what you say on these forums. People are always reading and you could get staff members into serious trouble. Just a heads up.To make this post on topic.... lol. If you have great hearing you can indeed hear Tomb's music from the top of Falls. I do love Dragon Falls, but I can't help thinking that it either needs a major asthetic change or just a complete replacement. The trouble is, for a replacement, the track kind of needs to be similar as that area of the park is pretty developed. Tis a difficult one. themeparkmad
I wonder if this ride will be closed at the start of the 2009 season as it usually is Dragon Falls and Bubbleworks. MarkC
Fred
Is it? As far as I'm aware its only been last year. Bubbleworks was deffo open at beginning of year of 06 and 07, otherwise I must've dreamt working on them.
Skunky
Yeah I agree with peter I can only remember this being last year as well I'm not 100 percent sure about falls but bubbleworks was definately open 06-
Mark9
It's normally Rameses that doesn't open on time, last year it was though. That was weird. 08 season - Bubbleworks07 season - Dragon Falls, Rameses (I believe) and Seastorm06 season - RamesesI think anyway

Skunky
I'm not 100% sure on this but I think falls wasn't open on the first day of the normal season but was open the weekend before for the private events??
Kevin
Falls was closed at the start of the 07 season up until about May due to construction work on it, it was also closed on the day after opening day last year.
Theme Park bloke
That's right, it was condemned by H&S and the chute after the drop had new supports put in. I remember there being big debates on Forums all over the net about "Oh, please, no, don't close Falls down!" - lol.
Kevin
Nope, not condemned by H&S at all.In fact Vortex had the same work done last year, which was having the supports strengthened by metal clips welded on which prevented any further fatigue. The ride was, and still is perfectly safe
Theme Park bloke
That's what I heard (condemned).
