August 26, 200916 yr comment_67892 Here's an e-mail I've just recieved from The Merlin Annual Pass Team Following a power failure on the afternoon of Tuesday August 25, Chessington and Zoo, will be closed for maintenance for one day only - Wednesday 26th August. The Park would like to apologise unreservedly to Merlin Annual Passholders who were planning a visit on this day. We'll be re-opening on Thursday 27th August, and hope to see you then. Apologies again,The Merlin Annual Pass Team
August 26, 200916 yr comment_67893 It's very good to see that emails like that are being sent out, to notify people that haven't already visited the website.
August 26, 200916 yr comment_67925 I've just been looking up rail fares for my Chessington run. Off-peak (when I go) it costs me £8.55 return. I've never really looked into a young persons rail card before, but I've worked it out and they certainly are good value. I worked out that to travel to Chessington, with a rail card, my fare would only be £5.70 for a return. (Obviously with the added £26 for a rail card). Now, I live 35 miles away, you can't argue with those prices!
August 27, 200916 yr comment_68087 Does anyoneknow if Chesssington is open tomorrow 'Friday 28th August 2009'?

September 2, 200916 yr comment_68666 How long does it usually take for Chessington to reply to an e-mail? I have sent 2, both regarding different things and to both have not recieved a response. Thanks
September 3, 200916 yr comment_68717 It depends, I sent 2, both about 2 weeks ago. One was replied to the next day, but I haven't yet received a reply for the second email I sent.

September 4, 200916 yr comment_68965 I heard a rumour before that Beanoland was going to be closing soon.I have not been to Chessington since the start of August unfortunately, so can anyone tell me if Beanoland is still open?Thank you
September 4, 200916 yr comment_68969 I am pretty sure it was supposed to close on the 31st of August.
September 4, 200916 yr comment_68979 Ah actually it may be, the Chessington wesbite would probably state Beanoland had now closed, I may be thinking of the Ice Age 3 temporary attraction which definately did close on the 31st of August.

Billy's Whizzer and Rodger the Dodgers Dodgems are on there! The 2010 season is going to be very interesting indeed!
September 4, 200916 yr comment_68982 The 2010 season is going to be very interesting indeed! Its the same with Alton.
September 4, 200916 yr comment_68983 I for one, can not wait !It's going to be , IMO, the most exciting season in a long time. Saw just didn't quite do that for me in the way SW6 has.And the new area at Chessington looks very exciting as well
September 4, 200916 yr comment_69003 I have been told 21st September will be Beanoland's last day in operation
September 4, 200916 yr comment_69015 That does ring a bell.I'm gonna miss Beanoland, I like it's scenary/theming, like the tree house, the fountain and the general look of the place. The buildings are really well themed although I do definately think it's the right time to retheme it and I think the plans for it next year are brilliant and I can't wait
