February 2, 201213 yr comment_131242 Ah this ride just can't stop being epic! Everything about it is just on another level.Shame I realised a few days ago that thanks to having to be at a musical tech rehearsal I can't come on opening Saturday, grrr. But it shall wait for me, for it is awesome and won't break after a few hours.<333
February 2, 201213 yr comment_131249 Fire! Oh lovely jubbly, I'll be able to cook a sausage. Joking apart, I'm glad to bits that there will be fire. But will the fire be shot out as a fireball, or will it just be a fire.
February 2, 201213 yr comment_131256 For those of you that want the full SWARM experience, I'd very very much recommend you go along on opening weekend.
February 2, 201213 yr comment_131257 Nah it's ok, I'm happy staying at uni avoiding the crushing crowds of sweaty enthusiasts and potentially under-prepared staff to go on a less busy day...

Nah it's ok, I'm happy staying at uni avoiding the crushing crowds of sweaty enthusiasts and potentially under-prepared staff to go on a less busy day...But then you'll miss out on the FIREEEEE which will clearly only work for about a week. :PBeing serious though, so happy the fire is happening. I'll be there opening weekend, because there is nothing quite like the atmosphere. <3 Sweaty enthusiasts. Lmao.
February 3, 201213 yr comment_131268 Now that fire is confirmed....maybe that tidal gas ball will be back
February 3, 201213 yr comment_131285 Thorpe park updated their stats for THE SWARM, it shows that the helicopter is confirmed, but more importantly... Theming: loadsGenuine plant wreckage, devastaed helicopter and flaming fire truck all to add to the apocalyptic devastation.DID THEY JUST SAY, FLAMING FIRETRUCK?!!?!
February 3, 201213 yr comment_131303 There is some irony for you isn't it? The Swarm brings down a jet filled with fuel and its the fire truck which has caught fire but seriously; awesome work!
February 4, 201213 yr comment_131318 Thorpe park updated their stats for THE SWARM, it shows that the helicopter is confirmed, but more importantly...DID THEY JUST SAY, FLAMING FIRETRUCK?!!?!OMHG A FLAMING FIRETRUCK?! Must be the one they blew up during Thorpe Blast, only soaked in kerosene or something and set ablaze! How friggin' unreal is that?!
February 4, 201213 yr comment_131322 I wonder how big the fire will be. I'm hoping that they still are going to put fire where the plane engines are.
February 4, 201213 yr comment_131332 I wonder how big the fire will be. I'm hoping that they still are going to put fire where the plane engines are.15 metres high. And yes, I do mean that.

How friggin' unreal is that?!The one they blew up at 'Blow it Up' is still sitting exactly where it was left at the end if the season; in the car park. Yep, interestingly, they've got a completely new fire engine for Swarm! I think this may be why they've decided to not put the fire truck in the pond front-first; though it won't look as natural, the interaction with onlookers will be better, especially if they're having it with fire effects!

And yeah, an already blown up firetruck does have its side effects. But anyway, great to hear Thorpe is coming back hotter than ever this time. While I'm not entirely familiar with the park's amazing history, I hear Tidal Wave once had fire effects too? Perhaps they could fix up the gas pipe and get both flames going again.
February 4, 201213 yr comment_131351 That the rumour going round.Well, if Tidal Wave's flames don't happen, we'll always have the Swarm's. But why am I getting the unnatural feeling those flames won't last?
February 5, 201213 yr comment_131358 I can just imagine how amazing that B&M track looks in the snow. <3(let's hope that the weather doesn't cause too much delay in construction...)
February 5, 201213 yr comment_131382 I'm off for an educational visit tomorrow...watch this space for snowy swarm pics!!
February 5, 201213 yr comment_131385 I'm off for an educational visit tomorrow...watch this space for snowy swarm pics!!...and a certain helicopter please if you can!
February 5, 201213 yr comment_131386 Please make sure that you have the guide's permission to take the photos you wish to take. We wouldn't want Thorpe to stop giving us updates if any unauthorised images appear online!
February 5, 201213 yr comment_131387 Oh lovely. Should be nice. But one thing I've been thinking about, if there are going to be fire effects on the plane engines, will they just be a burning fire, or will it shoot out? Obviously none of you know, but it would interesting to hear some suggestions.
