The weather for where I live (a few miles from Thorpe) is sleet today and tonight then dry tommorow so I don't think settling snow will be a problem. As for the cold that's easy enough to deal with.

I live under 2 miles from Thorpe; the weather is currently sleet and 1C, with it being cold tomorrow.

Don't see any reason why the meet can't go ahead. Do follow Thorpe's instructions of wrapping up warm, and as Peaj says, take advantage of the free AP hot chocolate after 3pm!

Do not be concerned the meet will not be cancelled! The only way the meet will be reduced in length is if the park does not open (and if it is I will plan something else on the spot ). We live in Britain people and we know how to brave unpredictable weather the best in the world so this should be able to just get on with it

I understand that transport could be a problem for some people tomorrow with potential weather conditions but all of you going have my number so you know how to contact me to meet up with us if you arrive later than expected

I doubt it will shut down because some time in April I went to Alton Towers and by 11:00 after 3inches of Snow they had all the rides open

I'm still really looking forward to tomorrow. At the moment it looks like we will be dressing up warm, drinking quite a few Hot Chocolates/Teas/Coffees and riding the two B&Ms!
