Hi everyone I really need your help. I am looking for a ticket for Thorpe park fright night for the 4th November 2017 which is for just nhs staff. I have looked everywhere and I can't find one for sale and they have sold out online. If anyone is unable to go or knows someone that is selling a ticket could you please get in touch with me as soon as possible as I would really appreciate it. Many thanks.

  3. Hey guys, I don't know about you, but I am fed up of seeing all the negativity out there about Thorpe Park. Sure, it's far from perfect, but this is the Thorpe fan site - If you're reading this forum, you must love the place to some extent? So why not share why?! Let's bring back some of the glassy eyed excitement we all used to feel when using these forums Please let us all know what are your 3 favourite things about Thorpe Park. Why do you love the place? I'll start. My favourite things about Thorpe are The atmosphere. I don't know what it is about Thorpe, but it has a certain atmosphere that you don't get anywhere …

  4. If Wicked Witches Haunt hadn't burnt down, what do you think its future would've been? Personally, I think it would have remained in the same format but become a shooting Dard Ride like Tomb Blaster at Chessington and the closed Duel at Alton Towers. I believe Duel and Wicked Witches Haunt would have been almost identical. I feel the only diffrences would have been the facades, transit systems and vehicles. I'd like to hear what you think the lost future of Wicked Witches Haunt would have been.

Without planning too much I had intended attending TP today to catch some reasonable weather and before my shifts start again - to find last evening that it is not open. I may be the only one, but Fright Nights are of no interest to me except for perhaps getting some late rides, be it with an extra payment. Annoyed I'll now have to think about doing some things around the home. Frustrated that I haven't ridden a coaster since Sunday, and not much time left.

Apparently, last Sunday was the worst day ever for trouble being caused by the traveller community who were at the park in large numbers. Several occurrences of queue hopping, pushing and it seems fisticuffs, due to this type behaving in their unsociable way. Glad I didn't go over until Monday.

  8. So basically on thorpe park's end of season video for the 2017 season they put the words "see you in the safe zone" at the end of the video and the website now says "coming soon for 2018" and it makes me wonder what it all means. Does anyone have any idea's?

  9. HELP PLEASE! If anyone has been to Thorpe Park before please can you answer my questionnaire all about your customer experience at Thorpe Park. This is for my dissertation, it will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete and if you add your email at the end of the questionnaire you will be entered into a draw to win a £20 Amazon gift card!! Your experience matters to me! If you can like and share it would help as I need to obtain as many responses as possible! Thank you! As some of you may be aware, the purchase price of a Thorpe Park Annual Pass at the moment is only £51.50, which I think is a ridiculously low price if one can make use of it more than two times in a year. As my current pass doesn't expire until June next year, and suspecting the price may go higher again, I contacted the TP office to establish that If one pays online and picks it up at the park, it starts on the day of collection, if one has it delivered it starts on the day of purchase. I will be buying mine this weekend and it will start after mid-June next year. https://www.thorpepark.com/tickets-passes/annual-passes/#

May as well have a thread for this. IMA Score have done a version of the main theme: I believe this is the first time the park and IMA Score have worked together since 2017. There's also an overlay of Rumba Rapids, going to "Oompah Rapids", which has music not done by IMA Score... More event details should hopefully follow, since it starts a week tomorrow...

As you are hopefully aware, this year we have had the opportunity to pose some questions to members of the Thorpe Park team, including Divisional Director Dom Jones and Merlin Magic Making's John Burton. We've been lucky enough to have an insightful Q&A with the Show Services Technical Manager, Jonny. The Q&A talks about the resort's AV set-up, IMA Score, Fright Nights and more! You can have a read here - https://www.thorpeparkmania.co.uk/articles/20-07-2017/Show+Services+Q+and+A

  14. Not sure if this is the right forum because it's just a suggestion - but thought I'd highly recommend Hansa Park for a TP trip, which I visited last weekend! It's fantastic and really hospitable to groups (CEO greetings/goodies/ERT) AND discounted entry! The Park is very deceptive in how much there is to do.....there's LOADS - definitely a two-dayer - and some TOP rides you want to do again and again! I also think its great for groups - because you've got all these side attractions to play on and be silly on to have a laugh for example - free high-ropes courses (no uncharge). Also because Karnan:- that is all!! - It gives Taron a run for its mon…

Hi all, Its been bought to our attention that members have entered restricted ride areas at the park recently and images have been posted on the forum. I'd like to remind all members that ride areas are cordoned off for a reason and are dangerous even if the ride is un-available at the time. Any questions please PM me or one of the team directly. Thanks Marc

Met a chap yesterday at TP, and whilst having a brief chat he told me that "this is my last ride, I've got to catch my flight." Yup, he flew over from Dublin to visit TP for the day.

I live very close to TP and only generally visit one other Merlin location each year, so I have a Thorpe Park Annual Pass. I've moaned enough recently, that return day tickets have been given out for free a lot, and groaned that the Annual Pass had been offered to day ticket holders at low prices, I have just received an email. The Offer....... TP Annual Pass for £25, that is crazy, and yes I have purchased it. I heard from management yesterday that they are reducing the amount of "fast-tracks" issued after a breakdown.

If anyone knows anything or has any photo updates from the current closed season you can post It all here. What if anything do you think will happen to Old Town or the second hand Waymouth Sealife Rides that arrived for the start of last season. Post anything closed season related on this thread!

I'm currently planning a trip which is open to all! The date has not been confirmed but will be either sometime this week or next week dependant on interest. This is intended to be a weekday visit. I need to collect my anual pass on the morning so I will be there early. A meet point will be organised shortly. I have made a group chat on Twitter as it's easy for everyone to communicate on. My number will be available for those on the day who may be late ect Just tweet at me @msgnyc if you are of interest. As far as food goes I will most likely bring my own food but we can organise something for those who want to buy it. Ple…

Thorpe Park have released another live band performance in the dome, Anttix. This is a free event included in the ticket (I'm assuming this apply's to Annual Pass holders as well). Whilst I'm sure I'm not the only one who has never heard of this band (or single player judging by one the videos I have watched. On stage 4pm - 6pm. This is one of the tracks he(they) play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk2pxAAgJSc

We perhaps all have a habitual awareness of our personal items when on rides, and everybody is encouraged to secure loose items. Yesterday whilst on a ride, yes it was Stealth, a twelve year old girl was injured by being struck by a mobile phone. She was on the front row, the loser of the phone was in row eight. That phone, allegedly, was in a teenagers zipped pocket. As we on this site, all understand that on the brake hill, the severe braking induces an opposite effect on gravity, with all loose items then being thrown forward. Sadly, the phone hit the girl on top of the head causing a cut, and I dare say, bruising, it took a while for the bleeding to stop. Being…

Can I take this opportunity to thank all those staff members who made my visits so good this year. The ride operators, the engineers and the cleaning staff, who all dealt with me and those within earshot so tactfully and patiently. Staff and even some managers whom I saw rush to assist to tidy up the mess that some unwell riders left. Whatever you all do in the future, this should have been a good experience to meet and deal with such a wide range of people from all walks of life. The staff should feel chuffed if their "customers" left with a smile, you've done your bit to make somebody's day, well done.
