Quick Questions

Quick qeustion, I'm going to TP on the 10th and I've got a bounce back ticket. How do I use it? Can you use it just like a normal ticket?

This may be pointless to some, however in the past few days I have purchased and received my McLaren t-shirts for the 2012 F1 season, and when I got the shirts I looked at them and felt the shirts (with little tweaks) would really suit Thorpe Park staff, is not all the Merlin Theme parks! If you look at the shirt you can see its 100% polyester, so it’s comfortable and cool (summer obliviously) I was thinking that the Wight shirt would be perfect for ride staff and general staff. Does anyone know what the friends and family discount is for Merlin annual pass holders at Thorpe park? It does not say on the Merlin Annual Pass website.Thanks

Hey All, three friends and I all have Merlin Standard Annual Passes and were hoping to attend the Easter 'Mash Up' event on Monday 9th. Will there be an extra £5 charge like at Fright Nights because for the past 3 years I have had my pass, I've never been charge for Sun Scream and that is also a special event I guess. I've looked all over the Thorpe Website and it just doesn't say, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As I am visiting very soon in the Easter Holidays and I don't visit very often, what order of rides would you recommend?Would it be best to do the opposite side of the park to The Swarm first and then do The Swarm later in the day, or go to The Swarm first, or something completely different?Help is greatly appreciated.

Another quick question here for the people who've visited the park this season.Does the song actually play near the ride? All the YM@6 fans seem to be under the impression that it plays in the queuelines and if it does I won't be a happy bunny xD

on my recent visits to thorpe park,I noticed some steel rails set into the tarmac to the left of tidal wave. these extend out to the waters edge of tidal wave and look as if they have been broken off,as part of tidal waves theming. the other end of the rails leads to what looks like a turntable,also set into the tarmac,outside what was the wicked witches haunt.they are all visable on google earth.does anyone know what these were for,whether they are just part of the theming of the area or the remains of a defunct ride?cheers

Hi from Australia everyone!We are coming over in May and I have just found this awesome forum so I thought I`d throw a question your way....Having only ever really been to Australian amusement parks (I did go to Alton Towers back in 1998, just as Oblivion opened) but the concept of Fast Track passes were not even invented, nor have they really reached our shores....As we really want to make the most of our day at TP...would anyone recommend purchasing the `unlimited ride fast track` pass for May (in the 2nd week probably) If its really going to save us a ton of time then its worth the investment but I was reading the TP page on Facebook and was surprised to hear how quiet…

I have recently created a youtube channel covering the UK's theme park rides. Up until now I have been using still photos in my videos. Is there an official policy as to whether video cameras are allowed on rides at Thorpe Park? If I use my camera, is there a chance of it getting confiscated?Any help will be appreciated

Hi everyone, I got my annual merlin pass this year, after saying about it for ages,I called the call center up trying to get my mate a cheap ticket for the 17th so we can go down and check out the swarm and the call centre said that this weekend is pass holder only, but I can buy a ticket on the website at full price, and it dont say anywhere on the website that its pass holders only? are they trying to fob me off?Thanks Tom

hi I have a induction at thorpe park tommorow morning, and wondering what I should wear, do I dress casual or smart ??? I wore a shirt an tie for my interview and they said I should not wear jeans or trainers to inductionif anyone knows what I should do as I dont want to look like a dimlo tommorowalso when I had my first interview others where in the reception for there induction in jeans and trainers :sthanks

Hi, I've recently applied for R&A at thorpe park and I've received an e-mail saying that I've been accepted. I'm told to report at 'cast reception' (no idea where that is) at 9.30AM for an interview. What can I expect? Should I dress up formally? What questions will they ask me? And where in the park is 'cast reception'?Haha I have so many question but I'm just going to stick to those 4 since this is my first job and I really want to get it!Any help is much appreciated!
