They really should get rid of those tragic queue line vinyls while they're at it... And that boring projector pre show. Honestly, the themeless 'Air' aesthetic was much better than the silly 'words as theming' approach they took with the re-theme, its so pretentious for such a mediocre pay off. With that in mind, I'd rather it go back to being Air; no false promises, no over-hype in the queue line, just a solid ride experience. I think it'd be better off for it.

Is there any official set ride availability over the evening sessions? Several evenings during the 10pm closes including today most flat rides have shut early, leaving just coasters, Detonator, Dodgems, Tidal, storm surge and flying fish open. Yet when I asked Thorpe Park they assured me all rides open till 10pm except I'm a celeb, living nightmare, zombie hunt, and old town rides closing at 6pm and Rumba at sunset. It seems to have been fairly inconsistent, as last Saturday most rides were open until the very end. I am guessing it is purely based on crowd levels?

I think they tried to do VR too early. The headsets are very low res. The hardware powering it is unreliable, not built for constant use. The technology is still very new and being developed. IMO, they should have hired a horror game developer rather than Figment to make the content. Also the transit system is just complete garbage. It e-stops if there’s a hair in the way of the sensors. My recent and likely last ride on it was embarrassing, the group I was with still point out how bad it was to me. One said the PS VR is much scarier in comparison. DBGT is still a great concept but it was very poorly executed. They chose the wrong suppliers at the wrong time to do it. They should have built a solid Mack coaster that year and then built DBGT when there’s the well established technology and 4K headsets to do it on a mass scale reliably.

For this year, yes. It has always been the case that every day in October was a FN day and it was Friday, Saturday, Sunday plus half term.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones... Perhaps as well the urge and desperation to have the latest technology without ensuring it is ready for the real life setting needs to be considered...

I only ever seem to eat at Finns as its far enough away from the screaming teenagers and has nice views of Vortex, Quantum, Rush and Zodiac. I do not like how you can't get red coke though. By all means encourage healthy drinks but don't take away the option completely.
