    Stealth

Can anyone confirm if the 5th green light has been fixed on Stealth to celebrate it's 15th birthday please.

    2021 Season

Absolutely no reason - just wishful thinking on my part! (I admit it looks unlikely and probably is just a boat and jetty, but I'm in that 'overly-optimistic-season-is-almost-here' mode)

    2021 Season

3 weeks can be a long time, but remember that during those 3 weeks the ride will be testing regularly for staff training. Whilst something could still be done, it takes away time from training whilst it's installed, checked for safety, etc. And I believe that the ride has been running for training lately. And in any case, here's an image from early 2019 (lifted from Google Maps of course): Compare with the image EpicSmatty posted: We can see the new theming has already been installed. Maybe there's more to add to it though. As I say, at this stage I'm expecting that when the pool is filled with water, it will look like a boat that's there is sinking, and the rest could be for some sort of special effect, like some sort of water splash/fountain/explosion. But no idea really, so curious to see what it is.

This hasn't aged well, has it. Both of these things seemed better before 😐

I actually think Camelot looks in better condition. Deadly serious

  10. Do you think the 2021 Tomb Blaster refurbishment will be as good as the rumoured 2022 one? I dont want to see them break the tradition

    The Six Flags Thread

So this is late, but earlier this year (months ago) Six Flags landed themselves in hot water with enthusiasts at Over Georgia. Now I am not one to back enthusiasts who are entitled, but.. So the camera and loose items policy is kinda annoying, but meh not too serious I guess. But that loose leg on Superman kind of seems a bit dangerous to me? Six Flags got a lot of flack for it, and I honestly think it is for a good reason. I am not sure how vital that leg flap is, but I do think having that leg flap not be locked, and then none of the staff noticing the leg flap was not locked on the lift, or in the station is kind of poor. It makes me question whether New Texas Giant's incident was completely Six Flags's staff training as well.. Maybe Gerstlauer were 100% correct to blame Six Flags.

    2021 Season

I imagine next year will be a near repeat of this year. TWD, DBGTROTD, BM all closed. Capacity issues elsewhere. If only they had a nice open space like a farm to relax in, a large capacity train ride to take you there, an event space like an arena where people could be spread over a large searing area, or a log flume where each riding group could have their own socially distanced ride vehicle.

But notice how now to collect your bags you'll have to cross back to the onload platform, squeezing past the old bag room to get into a far worse bottleneck on your way out, then U turn back towards the exit stairs. Looks a total nightmare!! Definitely the only reason this being done is to save staffing costs in the wake of covid.
