I just don’t get this ride at all. I really hope it’s amazing and that I’m wrong.. I just don’t understand the choice at all. One train, a shuttle, and now a choice of seats apparently? It all seems so wildly inappropriate to me given how busy Chessington gets, and how unbearable Fastrack sales make the day during summer.1 point

Thorpe have said that they are retiring from the theme park industry but not industry in general, so I think Rocky might be coming back somehow.1 point -
I love how you say ripped out as if there is anything to rip out. All stuff specifically related to Derren is digital, or simply the ride's signage. In any case, the ride has been receiving its winter maintenance, which suggests that - in one way or another - the physical hardware will be operational this season.1 point

Not gonna lie, training it to the park is not as straight forward as some places such as Efteling and Phantasialand. But it is doable if you know what you’re doing and don’t go on the express. You can get a bus to Basel railway station and then get connecting trains to Offenbach, then Ringsheim. Then get the park shuttle bus from there. But that may have changed from when I did it a few years ago.1 point

Depends again on the options. Closest airport is Baden Baden. Further afield Basel or Stuttgart. I've not gotten the train to the park but they recently announced a fast train to nearby Ringsheim. Alternatively hire car or lots of changes or expensive taxi.1 point
