Coaster

Visited today. RIDECOUNT: Zufari x2 Rattlesnake x3 Vampire x1 (Absoloute farce in operation of the ride today. Most ineffective two train service I have ever seen.) Rameses Revenge x1 Bubbleworks x1 Tomb Blaster x2 Kobra x1 Monkey Swinger x1 - Zufari opened approx 2pm. - From what I could see Dragon's Fury was only loading two people in most of the cars - I was not prepared to wait for it with a long queue it it was not running to capacity. - Vampire station operations were a farce today. Also wasn't impressed with the first aid people/paramedics - someone collapsed in the queueline (don't know why) and instead of getting a stretcher they just left her there in the cold (they were still there but didn't seem to know what to do). Poor girl!

I ate there today, not good at all. The "quarter pounder" is tiny and the bun is even smaller - the fries don't taste of much and I much prefered Burger King. Also the theming inside there now is mismatched and completley ruined. I actually liked the exterior though, so I guess they get 1/3. Unacceptable.

Well, after riding twice today I like some things about it but it could be improved durastically. It is very bumpy, especially in the back which is great fun and improves the experience by a lot! There were not however many animals outside and the cave final could have been better. - Also worth noting that it didn't open until approximatley 2pm today.

That sounds like great fun, but I don't recall it happening and it sounds a bit dangerous with people standing below!

I won't lie, whilst some aspects of Zufari look good I think that it looks dissapointing overall and a rushed job. I will be on park tomorrow so will experience it for myself, but as things stand at the moment (in my opinion) I can hardly say I'm excited.

Yes. Only joking, but it is a fantastic park and I prefer it to any other park. (And I have been to quite a lot, but not outside the UK)

Does the smoke in the pyramid smell like Stealth's?

It's not acceptable to drive out a company that provides good fast food and then serve up crap like that.

It's absoloutley appauling to state a 60 minute queue when there isn't one to promote fastrack sales. In fact, it is downright theft.

I will be on it next weekend so I will post a review on here after I have been on it. I am not watching the POV though because it would ruin it in my opinion.

Maybe they will if they are actually redoing everything - and by this I mean bringing all of the theming back. (Fingers crossed!)

One of these would fit in at Thorpe in my opinion but it would have to look a lot less "funfairy" and not hold people upsidedown for quite as long as that!!

So what is the music being played? And a shame to hear that another part of the park's history has been hidden

The train looks fantastic but I must admit it is a bit of a letdown that the ride isn't having lapbars. Oh well, I like it overall and the optical illusion on the back of the train is a good idea

Whilst I like the new billboard, I don't think that it holds the level of attention to detail that the other pieces of theming have - hence why I voted the plane wing as the best near miss. With that said, I think the billboard is a great addition

Or they could always have replaced the theming, like this: (Above got too old and was falling apart so they replaced it): Now surely if Pleasure Beach can replace their theming on such a scale then the multi million pound company that is Merlin can... Not good. Dragon falls looks dire and will never be the same again. (Unless they replace the theming!!)

Huh? Sorry for pointing something out that I thought deserved a mention, I forgot how negative some people are.

It was fine last weekend on Sunday, but then the park was almost dead. I'm yet to see it on a busy day.

What is it with all the merlin parks this year and being way behind with their investments?

This really is horrendous, why are parks removing all the theming from their older rides? I know it might be unstable and that, but it would be a lot nicer to see it replaced. Not happy, especially when they have cut the budget of Zufari to do this!! Runaway mine train probably won't have tunnels anymore!

Yeah but it was a darker shade of blue this year and I thought it stood out more than previously.
