So is it safe to assume this "reveal" means that there is no sign of the Big Top returning then?...... *golf clap* This looks like it's gonna be the first Fright Nights since 2008 where I'm not gonna bother going this year. The one and only thing left which drew me back to this event for the last couple of years is now likely gone.
 
I guess the Figaro Bros. couldn't continue with another year of "crazed debauchery" it seems. ?

Take a trip round the Love Island Like No Other where you witness the scary reality of grammar, the ability to form a sentence and any last semblance of intelligence disappearing before your very eyes ?
 

Regardless of which previous maze is supposedly returning, my question is this - why? What is the point in holding onto an older maze from years ago other than to give the impression of “we can’t innovate or stretch the imagination enough to build a new one from scratch anymore, so we’re just gonna rebuild an old design”? It makes no sense whatsoever and shows the park won’t let go of the past.
 
So as it stacks up, this is what we could be seeing for 2018:
 
• No return of Big Top.
• Possible relocation of cruddy Sanctum.
• Reigniting a partnership with Lionsgate.
• Bringing back an outdoor scare attraction themed on Blair Witch.
 
How very “year of The Walking Dead” 2018 has become...

There has to be some pretty good reason if Big Top isn’t to return this year.

Just imagine the reaction if Big Top goes, but Sanctum stays again for this year...... only to push forward the park's partnership with AMC, nothing else. ?

It’s probably worth mentioning at this point that the team responsible for Fright Nights in 2016-17 have long since departed the island. 
 
Each of them are watching on with baited breath.

Why would they remove Big Top though?  It was consistently one of the most popular mazes for the past 2 seasons, and IMO the most solid in the lineup last year.
 
Only reasons I can think of are operational cutbacks and/or a lack of skilled staff to build and configure all the effects?

Says a lot that all the replies to the tweets are talking about potential IPs for a new attraction (none of them Blair Witch).
 
Thorpe have conditioned their audience to expect IPs now, completely killing any potential scope for creativity beyond an IP now.

Fright Nights is dead... Tulleys is the place to be, all original themed mazes and done to a much better standard.
 
Bring back pre-2013 Fright Nights ?

Hey all,
 
Due to the change in leading these meets this has obviously meant a change in the calendar for 2018.

As a result of the change the calendar will also change:
 
September abroad trip will no longer take place (this year anyway) October - TPM Fright Nights Meet December - TPM Christmas Meet A provisional 2019 calendar will come around November time.
 
In the meantime keep your eyes peeled for information on the Fright Nights meet.
