KingNemesis got a reaction from saffy in Fright Nights 2016
Hate Thorpe's "Extreme" offering. AKA Let's sexualise everything. Extreme can be Extreme without getting nude and get all down and dirty such as throwing your shirt off... Just don't see the point.

Fingers crossed this place can be saved/brought up. I know it probably isn't the best park out there, but it would be a massive shame to lose yet another park like we lost American Adventure, Camelot and Loudoun Castle.
not to mention they have a Sweet Factory ride similar to the Bubbleworks and a half decent ghost train too.

Latest I have heard is North East Lincolnshire Council are talking to Pleasure Island about the future of the site next week. Will be interesting to see what happens to the rides. Seems like some people are interested in buying them according to what I have read in on the Grimsby Telegraph website.

Oh we do, We just don't appreciate hurling abuse at staff members. He could have got that point across in much calmer and more amusing ways. It's fun to have a joke with the staff, I do all the time, it brightens up there day but once expletives like the above are mentioned it no longer becomes funny...
The only funny thing about this was the fact he was unaware of the price.

But what a way to go!
Should have said it was caused by Saw: The Ride

The ride is place. I had a bit of artistic license with the station building and colour scheme. As you can see... The ride cost a lot of money!

about the roaming actors
if you look closely on the map there are red footsteps going from the port base around the map up to nemesis and round by saw. And on the key it says that the footsteps are the route that the roaming actors are going to take

well if you're times up you may as well go out on a high note! yes I should have said that, maybe the saw queue would have reduced!! I was wearing a large ball gown aswell (don't ask haha) so that was fun on the rides.....
Studying for a chemistry exam while queuing for Colossus a long time ago I can't forget some strange people in the queue saying to my friend and I they thought we had chemistry together. There isn't really anywhere to escape the awkwardness in a queue either....
people saying in rhumba rapids queue that it is possible to get the ride vehicle stuck in that rocky area near the main entrance if you all run to one side, and that they were going to do it. what a great day that'd be.

All the park needs is just slight park wide theming... maybe even one or two scare zones around the park where actors are roaming. No one will expect Universal level but something simular is really needed.

I think that person is a troll based on their other messages lol.
So many stories at Thorpe in particular, I'm sure ill have some gems to post after my next trip.
I went in fancy dress one year at fright night, people coming up to me and asking if my horror makeup (big cuts, fake blood etc.) was real with a terrified look on their faces, yes instead of heading to a doctor I decided I should go to Thorpe park first for one last innings.

Agreed with this, there is no need at all to hurl abuse at a staff member over something that is;
1. Beyond their control
2. Something you should have checked anyway
Calling someone a "legend" for acting like that is laughable.

KingNemesis reacted to Benin in Slagharen Theme Park & Water Park
It's not a great park in all honesty, very peculiar in the layout and the rides are bang average at best... It does have a fab little dark ride akin to Bubbleworks with fire effects aplenty though...
This new ride should be better than Sky Scream through assumption alone, but who knows...

Well I see know better way to start the park than by adding a large iconic Giga coaster to get things rolling!

Needing RAP could be for any number of reasons, it's a RAP requirement that an adult rides with them, not the person themselves (if the RAP user is an adult they still need another adult with them) so if a RAP person is able to queue for 5 minutes in the SRQ surely it's better for them to do that than it is go up the exit and clogings up that way.
Please don't come back with the classic "well if you can do an SRQ then you can do the main queue", the two are not the remotest bit comparable, especially at Chessie where their expert operations can easily turn a 10 minute main queue into an hour in the blink of an eye.

Forgive my scepticism (and for going wildly off topic), and I understand every case is different, but it just seems a bit...off

Being totally honest, aside from a vague standard shape and colour, they look nothing alike.

I think the downfall of Burps and how the same issues which led to this (lack of maintainence and poor cheap investment) are reflected across the whole of the park are quite relevant.
Bubbleworks has no future. Neither does this topic. Does the park?
