When was the last time Stealth had a roll back?
  2. I am going! Also, Peaj, my mum will call you nearer the time of the meet just to clarify what's happening etc. Oh yeah, and if we do go to the zoo can we see the fishes aswell?
  3. I think I saw some 'volcanic' rocks or ash in jars from the Nemesis 'volcano' in the Inferno shop the other week, I'm not sure whether or not it was for sale as the shelf was too high for me to see properly, but I'm sorry but why on earth would you even consider buying a jar of red sand? Thorpe have brought out some fabulous merchandise recently, but really?

On a different note I've been finding the restraints really uncomfortable as of recently. I don't know why but I just find the vests very restricting to the point that I was in quite a bit of pain throughout the ride, but I don't recall having that issue when I first went on Swarm? Is there really any need for those ghastly vests? (Without wanting to sound stupid).

  8. AI often close as late as 10:30 when possible, it's a shame Merlin can't manage times like that but I guess it's one thing opening a smaller park like AI for 12+ hours and another opening a park like Thorpe or Towers for that long.

Water Rides, Pepsi or Coca Cola?
  10. They must've been super enthusiastic last season if what I saw this season was weaker

Well I guess if you aren't reaching or going above 90 degrees very quickly, the ride cycle would be considerably shorter as the swings themselves would be shorter, meaning the ride would end quicker.

Without wanting to sound completely stupid, I felt that Colossus was slower when I went the other week? I felt I got a lot more hang time on the inversions, especially the heartline rolls, but it just seemed to dull the general ride experience besides that?
  15. How long have the Ride Hosts been interacting well with the guests for then? Until recently, I stopped going as the staff were just so rude and it just made the park seem boring (and I discovered Merlin...) But they have ALWAYS been miserable as anything which my family put down to lack of pay and long hours, but that may just be down to the fact my family are speculative exaggerators
  16. The staff at AI are really enthusiastic and interact well with the GP and I have no idea where this has come from. For the past 7+ years I've been going there they were incredibly miserable and only spoke to you to have a go about something. They all seem to be younger aswell, so I have a feeling they may of sacked quite a few of the older, more 'boring' ride hosts to be replaced with younger, fresher, happier staff. But it is nice to see, especially as they're a family park. Shame the same can't be said for Thorpe at the moment.

I wonder how long Thorpe are going to try until they realise it's far gone. I have a feeling they might be solving the initial problem(s), but there are underlying problems which are being worsened by this.
  18. I actually might go to this! It's just a matter of money but I may go!

I think I remember the sprinklers when I went during Fright Nights, and the waterfall actually got me wet when I went as my part of the boat bumped into it, although not being able to see what sounds like a massive waterfall terrifies those who haven't been on it before, I found it rather amusing myself.
  20. I think the boat ride has a drop, but I can't remember as it was a while ago. But it's pretty dark I think. Drop ride like Ryan said isn't very high at all but it is good and you get some pretty decent airtime in the 2 or 3 seconds it takes to drop. Have fun!

As far as I can remember, Swing A has always had a better cycle than Swing B. Like when I asked the ride host if it was possible to have a better cycle, she came back and said I can queue up again and go on Swing A as it's 'higher and faster'. So if staff members are aware of this, has it not been addressed?
  22. Well to be fair I've been against the idea of Angry Birds Land since I first heard about it so I guess I'm bound to give a bit of a biased opinion haha!
  23. I thought the houses were just being painted vivid primary and secondary colours so they sort've went I guess and they corresponded with Angry Birds as it's the colours of the pigs and the birds etc. But a pink polka dot building has absolutely nothing to do with Angry Birds as far as I am aware- it just looks like Thorpe got a bit carried away when they were buying paint tbh. Also, if there's only going to be ONE pink polka dot building, it's going to look odd compared to the deeper colours, but if they paint anymore buildings in that way I think it's just going to look somewhat tacky so Thorpe have just gone and dug a hole for themselves regarding apparent theming IMO.
  24. I believe that the Asylum building also acts as some form of conference room for school groups etc. I think.
  25. The Brainiac live event was infact listed, which you should find in Mark's initial post. It seems to be rather good from what I've heard, but I thought Brainiac died along with my childhood.
