  1. But the point is, some people do brag about it and use it as a leg up over other people. Another point is if people really could be fired for sending out such music then why send it out at all if its really so invaluable. Inevitably the music DOES get out. Mentioning no names, over the past 4 years, people who do have exclusive music have sent it to me anyway but always add the tag line "don't send it to anyone else though." Which of course, some decide to send it to their friends meaning everyone has it anyway. The irony is, theme park music is never that good if you aren't next to the ride in question.
  2. Ah, but I have worked on Vampire so therefore have a valid point
  3. I work there and err.. yes it is
  4. Just to take this off-topic for JUST a second, I totally agree with the consensus there. If you have music that is exclusive, great, oh what fun for you. Telling others then saying sorry can't send it out, makes you a complete jackarse.

Put some recording equipment next to it and the answer would be yes.

They made a new Professor Burps entrance sign, 6 months before they rethemed it to Cussons. Big companies love spending money.

On our forum it does. We have posted and put it in the guidelines. I have asked in the past for people not to swear (hiding it behind stars is still swearing) and most of it from you has been unnecessary.
  10. They were flashing lights...
  11. Hes probably friendlier to the guests then you are.
  12. Hmm. Either that or nothing. Thunder Looper wasn't going to stay because of all the complaints it was getting from the local people.
  13. Open day 2004. Hasn't been on since. I feel so sad, I miss the days when it was just a number LED board.oh dear

There's actually two grammatical mistakes there. No it doesn't matter as most people don't read the T&C's and theres things like world hunger, Aids, poverty, hurricane strikes, the credit crunch. But then again how hard it is to read over your own website and have correct spelling.

I've had it with the rubbish posts some people are making at the moment. I'm on a three strikes and your out basis because frankly posts like "lol x no way out smells" are getting on my nerves. Continue and you will be banned.Thank you for your time.

hehe.. I like how you hated the place and yet it still got an average rating.
  17. Realisitically it wouldn't bring in that many guests and would add very little to a ride that is already very successful and brings in the guests. The floorless aspect is one of those gimmicky things that a lot of people feel add very little to rides. I think the same would occur with Oblivion.
  18. It has kind of ended. The logos on the cars were removed about a season ago, although I can't remember if there are still logos on the entrance sign.
  19. Uhh.. its ride time is already longer then a good many rides, it still shocks people, its still an effective ride and its also my favourite at Alton so no to extension or modification. Its an awesome ride.
  20. Considering you are able to go on Vampire regardless of if you can walk or not it doesn't matter. On Rattlesnake there are only a series of very thin vertical ladders to get down from the very top and on Runaway Train it does depend on where people are evacuated on. People are taken off by a series of step ladders and have to get of the train from the angled track.. not as easy as it sounds. I'm not sure if its still the case with Falls but from what I recall, the reason guests need to be able to walk is because they used to only evacuate 2-4 people at a time. I don't know whether thats still the case though.
  21. And now a voice of a staff member (although I'm glad my areas rides were helpful ) Basically there are four rides at Chessington that you need to be able to get on and off without the aid of helpers at Chessington. They are the Runaway Train, Rattlesnake, Bubbleworks and Dragon Falls. Now I'm not exactly sure what the rule is about stopping Bubbleworks to allow guests in wheelchairs onto the ride (Peter may be able to explain further) What you have to remember is that the staff don't want to run the risk of getting in trouble for breaking a health and safety rule. It would be rude for me to ask how well you can walk but remember when you e-mail Chessington, is that the staff members were just going by the Code of Safe Working practise. They shouldn't have been rude to you though, and that is not on.If you have any questions about some of the disabled policies Chessington has just send me a PM, Ill try and help you out and maybe pass on your comments.
