Flipper
hahahahah brilliant!I always used to run to this ride when the park opened as there would be no queue till everyone had walked up there. You could go on it about 5 times in a row without queuing, pretty cool, if you like the ride hahaWhilst I wouldn't run straight to it; I view it as the best Log Flume in this country and second best water ride I've been on in the UK after Tidal Wave - so I can understand people running to it

Karys
Last summer the queues were quite busyStill remains a popular ride then! Although these days I will be rushing to Colossus or Nemesis. Saying this, Stealth gets pretty stacked up too.

Benin
If anything Colossus has gotten better with age. It still chucks you about a bit, but in a less painful way than before, if that makes sense.LOL...Just... LOL... I would go on, but that should be kept to the Colossus topic...Loggers Leap though... Bless it... It's still a good ride... Probs the best water ride at the park...
Karys
Loggers Leap though... Bless it... It's still a good ride... Probs the best water ride at the park...Yeah? Above Tidal Wave? I think I like them equally The bit in the dark is always fun though if you are with someone that hasn't been on it before and doesn't know what to expect! Benin
^My problem with Tidal Wave is that it gets you TOOOOO wet... So isn't really that rideable unless it's a day like today, which of course are pretty rare in the UK...Loggers is more rideable in the colder parts of the season, so it just edges it... Especially with the double drop... Best drop in the UK by far...

Mr.man
The dark section has a massive gap at the top so its not dark when your going down?
Dan
The dark section has a massive gap at the top so its not dark when your going down?Never seen that before but I love the dark bit is really catches you out and I always get wet
Mr.man
Now you can see the drop and it is only pitch black after the drop?

Mr.man
I know, it stinks! I could smell it on me all day, Storm Surge is chlorine infected so its clean, but this and Rumba are discusting.
JoshC.
I've never found the water that bad - could be better, but it's not terrible. There was that dodgy smell after the tunnel mind, though I haven't actually noticed that this season at all.. Ryan
Today I had such an awful taste in my mouth and it stunk so much, not the only person in my group to notice this.
Dan
I agree with you all it's pretty horrid and I hate the smell I allways carry deodorant to make me smell fresh lol but I still love the ride it's epic
Mer
That's a good idea Dano :DIt's never really bothered me that much, I've just adapted to it and it's now just become part of the experience
Phill Pritchard
It would be really nice if it was all retrofitted to run with chlorinated water, although I guess that would drastically change the feel of Canada Creek as the water would be clear and not as lake like. Then again I think that would be a change I would be willing to accept for an e-coli free Loggers Leap experience.(note Loggers Leap water doesn't actually contain e-coli) I am really glad that you added that extra bit at the end, just imagine what the Daily Mail would do if they came across a post about e-colit! Laelda_95
My hair smelt of the water all day on Wednesday, so manky
Phill Pritchard
Yes it is not very nice, but I think I have got used to it after all these years. I think it would be really strange if the water was suddenly chlorine treated, just out of the blue.
trippy
ive always wondered inside the first drop what is the little red light thats infront of you?
Luke_A
I've always wondered inside the first drop what is the little red light thats infront of you?The one inside the tunnel is an infra-red light so that the security camera which is above it can see what riders are doing and can see the ride etc. Mer and TP Daniel
Sheepie
I believe it's an infra- red camera so they can see that the ride and guests are behaving themselves.Edit: Luke beat me!
