Posted February 5, 201510 yr comment_202202 Hi, I am hoping to go to Thorpe's Braniac event during the February half term, but on the off chance may have to use public transport to get there. Will there be any buses to Thorpe park from Staines running during the February half term event? If not, what (cheap'ish) alternatives are there from reaching the patk via Staines?
February 6, 201510 yr Author comment_202211 Thanks very much, Is Staines bus station the stop where the shopping centre is (forget the name) located, as I remember that's where I got off when I took the 441 bus one time before getting the TP express.
February 6, 201510 yr comment_202229 Or you can get a taxi, it's usually £10 per car, so with a few people it's a few quid each each way.
February 6, 201510 yr comment_202239 or... walk? it only took me about 50 mins to walk from the park to the station! Quite a nice walk actually

February 9, 201510 yr comment_202341 Suppose I better put it in here, what restaurants will be open I'm hoping Calypso BBQ is open.
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202359 Peckish, Amity Fish N Chips, Amity Kebabs, Roast and Relish and the Coffee Shack will be avalible during half term.
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202364 No BBQ makes sense, that area of the park isn't open (and Thorpe will probably be taking advantage of that moving materials in and out of the Arena).
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202365 No BBQ makes sense, that area of the park isn't open (and Thorpe will probably be taking advantage of that moving materials in and out of the Arena). But Braniac is right next to it, assuming it's in the same location as Easter.
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202368 BBQ is currently in the middle of a building site and nowhere near any of the open attractions. I would doubt it.
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202369 It's near enough next to Brainiac if it's where it was last year.
February 9, 201510 yr comment_202370 Not particularly sure why people are keen to have an outdoor seated restaurant open in February? Lack of Bar 360 is peculiar though if that list remains accurate...
February 13, 201510 yr comment_202717 Considering they are currently building IAC where Brainiac was last year, I would have though people would of have realised Brainiac won't be there
February 13, 201510 yr comment_202719 Considering they are currently building IAC where Brainiac was last year, I would have though people would of have realised Brainiac won't be there To be fair, I made the comment about Braniac being there before the IAC attraction had been announced.
February 13, 201510 yr comment_202761 Bar 360 won't be open, as confirmed by the VIP team, due to a refurbishment. (Sorry if this is wrong place, but read and saw the previous posts)
February 14, 201510 yr Author comment_202771 I posted on Thorpe's facebook page a while ago (relating to feb half term) and they said Yes.
February 14, 201510 yr comment_202774 Bar 360 won't be open, as confirmed by the VIP team, due to a refurbishment. (Sorry if this is wrong place, but read and saw the previous posts) If they refurbished the rides as much as they refurbish Bar 360, we'd have nothing to complain about
February 15, 201510 yr comment_202837 Just So Everyone's Aware The Thorpe park bus Is defiantly running this week As I used it yesterday.
