April 24, 200916 yr comment_53812 On Sunday I didn't hear any of the audio cut out once. Even queueing for Stealth, not one time did I hear it cut out. So I guess if it does still happen, it seems to only happen on certain days. But it's the same loop played everyday!
April 25, 200916 yr comment_53915 Old loop, new loop - can't they decide? As of today, there is now a new loop for Amity Speedway's WWTP Radio But Amity Cove's, near Tidal Wave, is still the same?Same songs I'm afraid. Just some of the talking is different. We'll hardly spot the difference!Has Saw got Bose speakers?
April 25, 200916 yr comment_53917 Tidal Waves WWTP has not changed, Stealth should be changing back to the new loop after minor tweaks to volume levels and a few new songs added that were missed out.Saw does use Bose speakers, 802's in the plaza, 402's in the queueline and 32SE's in the station.

April 25, 200916 yr comment_53937 The plaza speakers are crackling now after a recent event involving End of Day music being played far too loudly
April 25, 200916 yr comment_53978 Why is it only Thorpe Park whose Audio continuously gets messed up?
April 25, 200916 yr comment_53988 Thorpes audio system is a hell of a lot more complex than any other merlin parks setup. Generally it works pretty well.
April 25, 200916 yr comment_53993 Thorpes audio system is a hell of a lot more complex than any other merlin parks setup. Generally it works pretty well.Well...no it doesn't. I have yet to be at Thorpe for one single day when all its audio is working properly. There's always either a ride with no Audio or the wrong Audio or with at least half the speakers broken. All of it can completely ruin the atmosphere. Not to mention the frequent times when the whole system gets pretty much destroyed and you end up hearing Rocky Express music in X:\NWO or something ridiculous like that. (And this seems to be happening every year at some point)
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54004 As Marc said it is more complex and the more complex it is the more likley something will go wrong. I think I have gone at least 4 whole day at the park last year with all the audio working in the right place and nothing going wrong with it.

I can understand that occasionally things will go wrong, but something seems to be wrong with it every single time I go. You say you've had 4 days when it's been fully working, but how many days has something not been working for you? 4 Days just isn't enough, and even still I bet there were many speakers not working on those 4 days.
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54014 I need both of my hands to count how many speakers are broken in the Stealth area alone :|
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54015 On Saw, why is it that nearly all of the speakers except maybe the 32-SE's have had the Bose logo removed?
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54016 They're too distracting from the theme apparently, a huge silver logo in dark environments show up quite a lot. Bose will be angry if they find out
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54020 Well I wouldn't say the logos are huge. Especially on the 32SE's, the logos are barely noticable

(And this seems to be happening every year at some point)Ive been there many days when its all been working. I cant think of a ride without audio regularly either, and when things do go wrong, its fixed quickly. And your point regarding the whole system going wrong, that is what happens when fibre optic cables are cut though, it could happen to any park with anything, but thanks to its design, we had some music on park instead of the place being in complete silence.
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54023 I thought it was quite interesting hearing different rides scores on different rides. Changed the mood and atmosphere, Twinkly Rocky Express music on Stealth is interesting. But then it does get a bit weird after a while.
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54025 Colossus loading 2007 and Pirates 4D sound brilliant in Canada Creek!
April 25, 200916 yr comment_54034 I remember Saws main area theme played across lost city, dome (lower and upper), entrance and beach on the 12th March in the morning for the media. Sounded really eriee and great! Then it cut out very quickly and changed to the norm when they left... thought I'd give it a mention. But it was really good like that. Made the toilet trip interesting with a dog barking at you.
April 26, 200916 yr comment_54059 I am pleased to announce that Stealths new WWTP loop is now back in operation! *cheers!*
