September 9, 201312 yr comment_168037 There is a shuttle service from El Prat Barcelona through the PA website... Park can probs be done in 2 days including shows and what-not... Dunno on the hotel front, the Western one has been highly rated for the theming (IN THE TOILET!), but aside from that I have no idea... Be adventurous...
September 9, 201312 yr comment_168067 Thanks very much, this should help abit for my planning process.
September 10, 201312 yr comment_168157 You can also take the train from El Prat to Portaventura via Sants. Takes roughly 90 mins and is relatively cheap. If you fly with BA you have to take the shuttle bus from the terminal to the train station which is free of charge but adds 15 mins to your journey.
September 12, 201312 yr comment_168263 We flew Stansted to Reus, taxi to park (28 euros, about 10 mins), and we're staying at El Paso, which is the all inclusive hotel. Length of time really depends on if you want to rush around or take your time and do things slow.
September 19, 201311 yr comment_168790 Yay new thing coming to Port Aventura!! Rumours of a Mack Water Coaster or Mack Splash Battle.
September 19, 201311 yr comment_168791 Mack did a presentation recently at an enthusiast convention at the park, not saying it will be this, but it's possible to be a water coaster prototype... It'd be really crap if they said that a Splash Battle would be an unimaginable experience...
October 6, 201311 yr comment_170054 Is there anywhere I can get the Furius Baco theme tune? There are videos with the music in them but is there a way I can get just the music?
October 6, 201311 yr comment_170055 That water Porto ride sounds very interesting. I hope it turns out to be a brilliant ride for the park.
December 29, 201311 yr comment_173704 I know this May seem like a stupid question but I was wanting to go over November early December is the whole park open or is it lol europa where only a handful of attraction are on
February 1, 201411 yr comment_175823 You know on the storyboard for Furius Baco the lyrics are in Spanish? I'm pretty sure there's a site that has those lyrics. If anyone can get the lyrics and translate them into English that would be great (I've done this before, I just can't find the site that had the lyrics anymore! )
February 2, 201411 yr comment_175827 I always thought the lyrics to Baco were: "WheeeeeeeOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOI'MGOINGTODIE!"
February 16, 201411 yr comment_176648 Baco isn't that bad... Just do the opposite to what you would on a B&M wingrider - aim for the inside seat
February 17, 201411 yr comment_176688 Baco isn't that bad... Just do the opposite to what you would on a B&M wingrider - aim for the inside seat It's clear that Baco is a marmite ride based on oh so many forum debates. I personally would rather be buried alive or encased in concrete, Han Solo style, then ever touch, let alone ride Baco again.
February 17, 201411 yr comment_176693 Just do the opposite to what you would on a B&M wingrider - don't ride it Edited for accuracy...
February 17, 201411 yr comment_176710 Smidget nailed it really. The inside seats offer a superb ride IMO. That launch is just incredible, as is the inline twist <3
February 17, 201411 yr comment_176713 Tbh nobody is ever going to will the battle of whether FB is rubbish or fabulous, I know an equal amount of people who love and hate the thing and both parties cant understand why the other thinks that. Its just going to keep going on and on. I do love the look of the launch though.
February 17, 201411 yr comment_176721 Hey guys I'm thinking of going some time this year, when is the best time to go e.g. when are good events on and things like that. won't be able to go in October as I'm busy then. one other thing is it cheaper to stay off park or is more fun onsite.

If you was to go when an events on id recommend staying on-site, you can pay around £50 for unlimited fastrack on the main rides and if on-site this will last you the duration of your stay. Fastrack is run pretty well in my experience, its not a place id like to have to queue.
February 18, 201411 yr comment_176800 That launch is just incredible, as is the inline twist <3 Not forgetting the soundtrack, storyline and preshow I hope
February 18, 201411 yr comment_176809 Not forgetting the soundtrack, storyline and preshow I hope ...and those Never did understand what all that was about with the monkey on a bike, mind. I do love that theme tune!
February 19, 201411 yr comment_176853 Furius Baco is great! I went on the outside and inside seat and it was comfy each time! It was only uncomfortable on the barrel roll but other than that its a smooth ride!
February 19, 201411 yr comment_176855 I'd really like to ride Baco, I have a reputation for enjoying coasters that most people deem horrendous so I think I'd like it.
February 19, 201411 yr comment_176856 I once read something on the internet saying something like "Furius Baco - Possibly the worst ride in the world"... ...WHO ARE THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE???
February 19, 201411 yr comment_176858 Me and Mark9 for starters... Bless Intamin, they do try, but more often than not they maim you...
February 19, 201411 yr comment_176859 Me and Mark9 for starters... Bless Intamin, they do try, but more often than not they maim you... I thought the ride you hated most was tornado, so FB doesnt hold that title plus if you hate it so much, why did you go on it a few times late last year?
