There is a shuttle service from El Prat Barcelona through the PA website...

Park can probs be done in 2 days including shows and what-not...

Dunno on the hotel front, the Western one has been highly rated for the theming (IN THE TOILET!), but aside from that I have no idea... Be adventurous...

You can also take the train from El Prat to Portaventura via Sants. Takes roughly 90 mins and is relatively cheap. If you fly with BA you have to take the shuttle bus from the terminal to the train station which is free of charge but adds 15 mins to your journey.

We flew Stansted to Reus, taxi to park (28 euros, about 10 mins), and we're staying at El Paso, which is the all inclusive hotel.

Length of time really depends on if you want to rush around or take your time and do things slow.

Mack did a presentation recently at an enthusiast convention at the park, not saying it will be this, but it's possible to be a water coaster prototype...

It'd be really crap if they said that a Splash Battle would be an unimaginable experience...

You know on the storyboard for Furius Baco the lyrics are in Spanish? I'm pretty sure there's a site that has those lyrics. If anyone can get the lyrics and translate them into English that would be great (I've done this before, I just can't find the site that had the lyrics anymore! :P)

Baco isn't that bad...

Just do the opposite to what you would on a B&M wingrider - aim for the inside seat ;)

It's clear that Baco is a marmite ride based on oh so many forum debates. I personally would rather be buried alive or encased in concrete, Han Solo style, then ever touch, let alone ride Baco again.

Tbh nobody is ever going to will the battle of whether FB is rubbish or fabulous, I know an equal amount of people who love and hate the thing and both parties cant understand why the other thinks that. Its just going to keep going on and on. I do love the look of the launch though.

Hey guys I'm thinking of going some time this year, when is the best time to go e.g. when are good events on and things like that. won't be able to go in October as I'm busy then. one other thing is it cheaper to stay off park or is more fun onsite.

If you was to go when an events on id recommend staying on-site, you can pay around £50 for unlimited fastrack on the main rides and if on-site this will last you the duration of your stay. Fastrack is run pretty well in my experience, its not a place id like to have to queue.

Bless Intamin, they do try, but more often than not they maim you...

I thought the ride you hated most was tornado, so FB doesnt hold that title :P
