December 3, 201113 yr comment_128322 A friend did this at our christmas concert on Thursday and Friday - I love it so much, it's such a haunting and beautiful song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA4RfsAzPy0
December 7, 201113 yr comment_128424 don't like most of these songs, and this video makes me worried about the state of chart music. But it's rather addictive!
December 7, 201113 yr comment_128437 Excuse me whilst I go search for my jaw and my ears... Jaw's on the floor and ears have just been blown off.
December 8, 201113 yr comment_128442 Jaguar Skills has put a bunch of his amazing work up for free download..........http://soundcloud.com/djjaguarskillsLove it.
December 8, 201113 yr comment_128460 And a slightly inferior version of the rather old fashioned original, but the rapping part adds a nice touch in my opinion:
December 10, 201113 yr comment_128509 I went to a Coldplay concert but wasn't given an LED wristband #firstworldproblems
December 10, 201113 yr comment_128521 Just as I thought Levels couldn't get any better... Wow, I still love the original but this is SO good.
December 10, 201113 yr comment_128525 As much as I love Skrillex, I'm still not sure why an American artist like him is on UKF. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it stood for 'UK's Finest'? Still loving that remix though, and on the subject of sexy remixes, I'm also quite enjoying this at the moment: :wub:I also never realised UKFDubstep is the third most subscribed YouTube channel of all time :oEDIT: I'm kind of into dubstep, but this Skrillex/ Nero impersonation had me in stitches http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhIr_aTBaE0&feature=related
December 10, 201113 yr comment_128530 I must admit, the prospect of Michael Bublé's music is far more enticing that the man himself (some of it, at least). I actually adore his cover of 'Cry Me A River'. :DHe's just too easy to hate sometimes.

December 18, 201113 yr comment_128843 Pre-Warning: Video contains some darkly comedic slapstick SFX. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOW2eEz9cYkPop is rarely this fun anymore. Everything is so squeaky-cleanly produced and far too easily digestible and commercialised these days. There really are no risks because risks don't bring in immediate returns for record labels. They'd rather satisfy their bellies with someone who can sell records like X artist rather than try to be something new that takes a while to catch on.Admittedly, it took me a while to 'get' this song, Alex Day's 'Forever Yours', because at first I was baffled by it and thereby couldn't really understand what it was for. But I then realised, what if it's got no secondary intention? What if this song merely exists because of those serendipitous moment of unbridled nostalgia that we all have but find so hard to express? The video may be made on the budget of about five quid and is riddled with often hard-to-swallow goof-ball humour, but the simplicity of is part of the charm I guess. Someone made me realise recently that I often take things too seriously, and in doing so compromise my enjoyment of music and other forms of entertainment because I'm so critical, having to find justification for liking anything and undermining the very intention of such outlets of unabashed fun. I doubt this song will serve as some kind of epiphany for me, what with it being an obvious novelty that'll soon wear off, but I just thought I'd share it with you all.PS: For those chart music-orientated members who like this, Alex Day is a YouTube phenomenon who's recently received a lot of recognition for this song, causing it to chart at a combined position of #2 in the UK iTunes chart thus far.
